  1. Prices are on the rise......

Avalanche gray.... best color! But I am biased....
  2. Just Purchased a 2017 GT350

Welcome to the world of 8250! Mine is 2017 as well. I support the catch can crowd. Passenger side only. If you are going to track it look at Vorshlag camber plates. Also helps with Trammeling. I replaced the stock air filter with a K&N, just because I have always run K&N. Also consider going...
  3. Just Purchased a 2017 GT350

    Hoorah on the jacking rails!
  4. Prices are on the rise......

USAA Bank. Pays to be a vet I guess! haha
  5. Prices are on the rise......

    Yup, blew me away!
  6. Prices are on the rise......

I refied my used vehicle loan and the financial institution black book on my VIN was $68,500. I have just over 16K miles on my 350. Not the R. I love to drive this car. I love to track this car. I will keep it as long as I can physically drive it. Maybe my son can retire on the proceeds from it...
  7. And the hits just keep on coming... 2017 GT350 - low/no oil possibly?

Single. Just for the passenger side. When I did my initial research, it seemed as though the driver side bank didn't experience the blow back. It was recommended that I only install the passenger side can. I went with the JLB machined aluminum set up. Been very satisfied.
  8. And the hits just keep on coming... 2017 GT350 - low/no oil possibly?

So it sounds like the dealership is trying to take care of you. If they have documented the issue, give you an extended warranty, I would just drive and enjoy! I had my oil filter housing changed, new oil pressure sensor put in and had the air conditioning pump pully replaced after it broke on a...
  9. Prices are on the rise......

Mine will likely be a high mileage, much track time car when my son inherits it! Good luck on your next project,
  10. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Two cents more of useless opinion..... Your GT350R is a more unique car than the Porsche I think. Not better or worse, different. But... you have to drive it. The beauty of the machine is in what you do with it. If you drive the GT350R and love it, keep it.... and drive it! If at some point...
  11. I saw a 2021 Mach 1 today in downtown Rochester, MI and spoke to the lady engineer.

Rochester, MN in December and no snow to be found! Double lucky.... new Mach 1 sighting and weather that allows one to drive it! :)
  12. Well that didn't last long. 2020 GT350R DEAD

Reading the stories about the problems folks have with new car purchases reinforces my preference for cars with some miles on them. Seems most fails occur in the first 5K miles. Sorry to read of your troubles. That sucks. But when its fixed and you get it on the track, you'll forget (kinda) of...
  13. It's official now... GT350 and GT350R production ends this Fall

With the relative "rareness" this creates, makes a guy rethink heavy track use.... something to ponder.
  14. 2016 Shelby GT350 Widebody Fathouse Build

Wow, what a stunning ride! Good to see how the dream list of upgrades will look on my car! haha.
  15. Caught in the rain.

Its fun to track in the rain. Whole new skill set to develop and new dynamics to learn. A little track schmeg adds character!
  16. 2 Weeks with the GT350

Congrats! I was fortunate to find an Avalanche Grey model. Have fun and hit the track!
  17. Track tires

I'd appreciate that. If you can send pics of your marking system too, that would be helpful. I have seen other guys set ups where they mark their street and track settings on their plates. Was thinking that was a good way without hitting the alignment shop after every event.
  18. Track tires

Good info KZ. Have to figure out a decent way to reset for track and street while maintaining good geometry. Maybe try to make a deal with the local shop I use. Thanks for the chat!
  19. Track tires

Good information, thanks. Are you keeping that camber when on the street?
  20. Track tires

Thanks E. Camber plates are on order.
