I’m 6’ 2”. It’s really easy to see the top of this low car. It’s not an SUV lol.

Is anybody that’s actually commenting on this car even remotely interested in purchasing it? I doubt it. That’s the point Really. As for the concern over the decal, that’s a simple email or phone call inquiry. As for the comments it should be presented in highly detailed state. I get it, I keep mine that way. There is nothing in those photo’s that suggests that car was remotely mis teated or not taken care of. I don’t get the crowd that lord’s over an R much like a woman that sets her louie v purse down in the middle of a room to get attention. It’s a beautiful car and I hope it brings all the money. That’s beneficial to us all.

PS. My red 350 has a little drywall dust on it from me doing my rv garage. The horror.

That’s pretty critical view of a person asking if the roof tattoo is vinyl or permanent? 355, who cares about the mileage—there’s a couple for sale that are low. Here’s one at 25 miles, and in a rarer color.

But let’s talk about low mileage—that’s a seller who is aiming to say that his vehicle is in prestine brand new condition, perfect for a car collection. A car collector who wants a car still in its wrapper and without any use will want a car as close to stock as possible.

Selling a car aimed at that market is fine if the car is completely stock, but here you have a person who modified the vehicle—personalized it, and just like any other things, personalizations are not everyone’s cup of tea. Try selling a house in a funky color.

What’s interesting is most people who personalize choose to keep it as their own, this person changed their mind pretty quick—within 350 miles, they decided to take it from their own car with their own modifications and preserve it for sale. Most people if they decided to preserve it would take off all modifications and put it back to stock. He didn’t, is it because it thinks that they are awesome upgrades or because they are non removable?

Now I don’t recall anyone, myself included saying that it won’t sell but that those personalizations like the roof, if permanent, could hurt the price, and many buyers will want to know if it is paint or removable. The seller clearly likes it, he has shown it off in multiple pictures to highlight it, but will every buyer like it? No. Some will have questions and if it is permanent, some will walk away. There are too many low mileage GT350Rs out there that people have been storing away for years just for the car to be discontinued and the market to be on fire like the vehicle that I linked to that are unmodified factory examples of the same vehicle.

I don’t recall there being a rule on here that says “to talk about a car you have to be in the market to buy said car.” The only person who seems to be pushed out of shape by the comments are you. THe #whatyoushouldbetalkingaboutpolice is real.

It's all about perception. If you're selling a newish car and hoping to get more than new car money, you should put a little elbow grease into it. This is not something that I or anyone here came up with - it's a concept that goes back generations. Generally, people are more interested in an item for sale...and interested at a higher price..if it genuinely looks like the owner loves it and has teken proper care of it. For many, purchases are somewhat emotional decisions and if you see the person has a "whatever" attitude about selling something, it does say something about the buyer and the item/car. I can tell you that it's unlikely that I'd buy a car from you, ever - if you had this kind of presentation for a car that I can honestly, still find in many places.

Mine's sitting in the garage plastered in lake files, bugs, dust, etc from a all day drive last Saturday. Had a blast! Will take my time and clean it up this weekend. A car can be cleaned up. If your selling the car, yes do the best you can to clean it up or pay someone to do it..
as for the R, I think everyone is high on the car's performance and driving experience for the most part. I personally do not like the 5 spoke wheels even though they are carbon fiber, or the big wing in the back. I don't know if I would ever upgrade to an R... like the comfy seats, the back seat, AC, stereo, etc......Auto Fanatic gives an interesting take on his experience switching from the Race Red 350 to a 2020 Kona Blue R.. for what it's worth...

No way to take this guy seriously. Typical Youtuber who thinks he convinced us all to by a GT350. An "influencer" as some at Ford would say. Unfortunately the only thing he is an expert on is his own opinion. The members on this forum are much more knowledgeable (ask about the cup 2 tires on the 19/20) Ironically, I switched from a red base GT350 to a Blue R. Guess I should start a Youtube channel.

Tim, agreed that this guy is really something else and he even suggested that Ford followed his lead and direction on some interior upgrades.

I have driven a lot of miles in various R models and not once was my vision ever hampered by the rear CF wing which he clearly does not like and suggests is much too heavy.

Lastly, it seems that the only aspect of the R model that attracted him to the this car was the CF wheels which just certainly indicates just how little he really knows about this model compared to the many R model owners on this forum.

Funny, that's the one reason I didn't buy the R.....the streets in Los Angeles just SUUUCCKKK so I would've taken them off the moment I bought it
