With a screen name like yours I was sure you live in Tucson... not NC! Enjoy the boost!
I'm from everywhere lol Tucson was good run from around 1995-1999. I liked the name so I kept it.

For some reason, I can not pull over 5500-6K in 3rd gear. All others will redline with no problem.

Does your car have some sort of issue?

I believe Roush has a rev limiter at around 6500rom.

I've heard that but not sure if it is just the autos in certain gears, and/or the manuals in certain gears also. I can redline 1st and 2nd, it starts bulking/sputtering, as though it hit the rev limiter at the top of 3rd and of course, I have never redlined 4th on the street.

I believe Roush has a rev limiter at around 6500rom.

Oh yes, I forgot that. That cannot be normal.

My A10 shifts at well over 7000 in the first 5 gears. Not 100% sure about 6th.

I 'think' the limiter is in 6th.

While not 100% accurate, I am calculating that my car shifts from 6th to 7th at approximately 7000-7100 rpm. I base this on the fact that it shifts to 7th VERY shortly before the end of the quarter mile where I reach 129 MPH. The screen shot below shows how close the finish line is when it shifts to 7th. I don't know precisely what speed I am traveling at that point but here is a calculation based on a speed of 127 at the shift point.

I think we have all said those very same words. Which tires do you have now, the Michelin or Pirelli? As stated above, the Nitto 555rll will definitely help in the traction department.
Michelin pilot sport 4s
here I thought they where good tires

Those can barely hook NA and even then were weak. Definitely cannot handle boost. 555r2 are a streetable DR that can hook power but handle dd and even rain.

Guess its time for new tires lol sucks because I still have the set from 2019 wheels and all with only 200 miles on them

They are fine/actually dang good for daily driving. It is just they are not great for hard pulls. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4s and the Continental Extreme Contact or what many manufactures use on their performance vehicles and they work great for the "average" user. There is going to always be a compromise between hooking great with power and handling/street manners. I don't think there is a tire that can be "great" at both. If I had two sets of wheels, I would run the Michelins during the cooler months in GA, and when traveling out of town.....the rest of the time, I would run the Nitto 555rll on the rear and matching 555g2 on the fronts.

You will hear many of us comment on the Nittos....keep in mind, you have to get some heat into the tires for them to hook great. What I do like about them is they have eliminated the spin I would get at high rpm 3rd gear shifts, and minimized the spin I used to get going into 2nd gear. Nothing short of the Mickey Thompson can eliminate some spin when taking off in 1st under full power. But you don't want those Mickey's on there, should mother nature decide to have a downpour.

I don't go to the track it's just around town car but at night I try to get a couple good pulls in on the bridge from Ohio to Kentucky
I always have to feather it until 3rd still spins in 3rd some but pulls awesome my 14 year old said mom going across the bridge you sink in the seats

Are you still on the stock Roush tune? If so, do you have the latest revision?

I spoke with Roush. We are trying to determine which revision I have. There is not a Roush dealership within 2 hours that has the Roush datalogger tool.
