Your GF looks very fit lol
She’s self conscious due to just getting braces to bring down a tooth that didn’t come down growing up. We hit the gym 5 days a week. Lol

Welp, after today I can say that the guy that did the work on my car is an expert.

I ended up sticking with NTB and the store manager there who did the work has been putting on rims for 15 years and has worked with a variety of tire and rim combinations. Not one scuff mark was on my rims when he was done. It took all day for whatever reason (chain store, high volume, they're closed tomorrow due to Easter Sunday), but he didn't mess my stuff up, he took his time, and it all fit with no other parts needed to make it all work.

He straight up told me he'd rather be the one to do it because he knew the other guys in the shop wouldn't care as much as he did. So for that I gave him my appreciation and a tip for giving a damn.

Again for those who haven't seen my other posts in this thread, these are straight from the Ford catalog, their PP2 sized rims, 19x10.5 fronts, 19x11 rears wrapped in Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ tires, 285/35/R19 in the rear, 275/35/19 in the front.

The tires aren't as wide as you find on the PP2 but they look amazing in person.

Gonna clean the car up tomorrow and put a post in the wheel thread.

We have a great wash company here. There has been damage to car here and there but they pay everything to repair. Someone actually went through and vandalized machines by driving over the machines etc to damage them

stupid peolle

fried mud, another nice thing is a little Velcro circle

I have rough side on the dash, soft on keyfob. You can see rubber tray too.

I love my cradle on my iPhone 5se , and I will replace with iPhone 13 mini

You need to have a "conversation" with your GF. How is it you're allowing her to stand beside the car in shoes that aren't grabber blue, a hair scrunchie that isn't grabber blue, and leotard that isn't? Has she no fashion sense at all? :)

Your a brave man. I never use a car wash.
Last yearMmy neighbor had an incident as his wiper was pulled off the car an beat the car, shattered the windshield. Car wash says not their problem. Her Insurance did pay for all the repairs though

Edit:
Search " car wash goes terribly wrong" in the gt350 section to see the damage to fender. Posted by #lenfeb
Agreed - this is crazy.

If it's too cold for me to get the buckets out and put my hands in the water... I'll just pressure wash it myself and wait for a better day...

Walked out into the garge this morning to pull the car out (it was parked where my wife normally parks, she was parked outside last night), looked it all over, and said damn that's a fine looking ride! Getting ready to attempt the BBK catch can again. I think the larger intake tube from the FRPP2 is causing a kink in the catch can hose. We'll see tomorrow.

Finally got to drive it after 6 months of hibernation in the garage. Fired right up. The weather cooperated today. Sorry no pictures, I was too busy enjoying the drive.:handsinair:
Do you use a battery minder?

Finally got a powerwasher and supporting accessories this week. Detailed my car and my girls car which is also a black GT... Sigh. 2 black cars will be the death of me.

Also painted the GT and the center of the 5.0 badges bronze to flow with the wheels. And picked up a new MGW race spec short throw shifter yesterday. I CAN NOT wait to get the stock junk out of this car.

Tell me about it. I also own a black GT. Very hard to keep water spots off of it...

Yeah man. It's even worse when you don't have a garage. It was 43 degrees when I was washing it and steam was still rolling off the paint. Also my house gets no shade, we are on the hot side of the neighborhood. 🥺

I agree the Nexgen is nothing to get excited about. (Too bad I have 3 bottles) I put 2 coats on one of my other cars. I guess since I have it, I can apply it after every 2 or 3 washes until I use it up.

Full bath, ready for a So Flo cruise this weekend. Second wash afer using Nexgen Ceramic Spray Wax, just ok. I have the Armor Shield IX kit on the shelf in the garage, going to take the dive and apply soon.

My house gets shade in the afternoon where my car is parked. During the winter months though... I hate getting it done. Tomorrow is supposed to be a decent day where I live. I might not wait for the shade to hit but I'll get it cleaned.
