SO how does the work with the mode selections already on the car?

Does it just change the response on the gas pedal?
The throttle controller and the drive modes work together exactly as you'd expect, in my one day of light testing. The differences in drive modes are still there, just each is enhanced with an incredibly responsive pedal.

My day to day modes are Sport+ with Track exhaust setting. I have the controller in a "mid range" setting of 2.5, and it really is an incredible combination so far. Hard to explain fully, but it's like the car winds up quicker, revs deeper, and just feels way more powerful as if it's been unleashed.

I'm thrilled with what it's done, quite honestly 🙂

you should tap into the throttle commanded signals and see what kind of ramp it's using.

That's how I would do it. I would use a bigger cutting disk though. Helps with a straighter cut.

I bought a “diamond dremel disc” today. It was 15 bucks but it shows cutting right through steel and says granite marble steel etc it’s use.

Lol I have no doubt Itl eat the abs plastic instantly. Chose it because it’s extremely thin, so should be like butter.

Picked up some PB Blaster to help with exhaust tip removal.

Really need to spend a day washing and detailing, but it's too rainy/dreary of a day. :crying:

Got to see a picture of these on! What are your offset by the way?
Got these from Custom Offsets took about 2 weeks from order to my door.

I did a test fit today for some new shoes for the pony and wound up driving aimlessly for 20 miles..lol.. I only wanted to test fit to make sure no noise, rubbing, etc but well you know how these stangs are: irresistible when sitting still and irresistible at WOT (wide open throttle)

Driving impressions for 20 x10 Ferrada CM1 +40 offset:

  • The nitto NT555 G2 are excellent I was able to tell the difference right away when cornering at about 50 to 60 mph. Compared to the all season Cooper tires the nittos make a big difference
  • I was worried about the offset as I wanted a square setup with a little poke. The +40 came out right.
  • I have hub centric 5mm spacers from an older wheel combo for the fronts but did not need them as these 20’s clear the brembos
  • The 275/35/ZR20 are just tall enough and actually reduce some of the space in the fenders unlike the factory PP2 19s
  • The car sits higher and I am okay with that, now my sto and go tag holder does not scrape my driveway

Here are a few pictures, she will get a bath tomorrow and I took the wheels back off to ceramic coat using Avalon King IX. I don’t mind coating myself but for an extra $120_ Custom Offsets would have delivered them already ceramic coated.

isn't there a slitting saw option for the Dremel? These friction wheels you've been buying tend to melt the plastic.

Don’t really know what that is. I’ve never owned a dremel before. This is first time handling one.

Only bought it because that video I saw I was purely mimicking them.

You are correct. They certainly do melt plastic. And my experience with using a Dremel for cutting is you require a very steady hand or one slip and your work can be cactus.

Ordered a UPR catch can, the one that mounts to the radiator support. Should have it by Monday.
Have one in a box on the welding table, the radiator support sold me.
The only question in my mind is the access to empty the thing.

Changed the bushing on the shifter snout. What a useless thing that was. Replaced it with Energy Suspension, polyurethane bushing perfect fit every time.

Apparently it's pretty easy to empty because the little brace has a knob for quick releasing the can. Seemed better to me compared to the ones that just hang near the intake manifold.

My thoughts also, and larger capacity. Not that I want my car to fill it LOL. Real clean install, hose routing is purpose built.
You will like the quaility of the all the parts, top notch.
