My childhood "hero car" (Mk. IV Supra) was already unobtanium by the time I was driving. I'm more likely to ride into the sunset on a unicorn, than to buy an unmolested Supra. And, as you said, it would just be slow now anyway. That's why the restomod route is so appealing. Classic style, but modern power. I could one day own a "68" Mustang, but the bones would be something modern. Maybe I'll build one on a Mach-e chassis .

So a older gentleman friend of the family is actually restoring a 68 mustang fastback and putting a second gen coyote in it..I think its best of both worlds.

I ate BBQ and shat something nicer earlier tonight. And it prob has weak power windows, and the interior sucks. Its like when folks buy a Dodge and are surprised when its a POS at year 3.

Ecoboost dudes? I just had a 2018 mustang gt with an odin supercharger kit. And you act like ecoboosts are bad cars. They aren't, at all. But ok. Someone seems to have a sensitive ego. Just because you dont like something doesnt mean other people have to agree with you. The camaro has more features and performs better than my gt premium for less money. Sue me. I also like the interior 10 times more than i did my gt premium interior. Its called an opinion. I AM thankful my head unit hasnt stopped working like my mustang did though. That was annoying.

The difference between the two is small enough to come down to preference and what people want in their car. I loved my mustang but was tired of the 10r80 and didnt want the mt82. A warranty brand new car was a bonus. Most everyone on here is civil. Acting an ass doesnt make you look cool. And you even frown on other mustangs that arent GT's? What a classy person you are.

Boost is tempting again. But im thinking ill keep that warranty a bit. If i do start doing stuff itll probably be a max effort NA build for a while.

Right! I agree. Each one is pretty awesome, just comes down to personal preference. I have buddies with all different types. The camaro is definitely fun to drive. The main arguments against it dont apply to me as a) i like the looks and b) i think the visibility is fine. Lol
