Hi. I'm the new owner of a 2020 GT 350 Heritage Edition. This may be normal but when I open the drivers door to get in the parking lights go on there's one audible click from the front and then a series of 2 or 3 from the rear. Of course I may be hearing things since I turned 70 a few months back.

Probably your fuel pump energizing. I think they started that in the 18+ cars.

Thanks. I was kind of thinking fuel pump or something of that order. Great car but the snow finally showed up today so it will be in the garage for a while.

perhaps the clicking from the rear is the exhaust valves cycling.

OP would like to read your comparison between GT350 and 911 Carrera S.

I've only driven the GT350 500 miles so i don't have much to go on but the GT350 seems more raw, loud and perhaps less refined than my 9 year old Porsche. That's not a negative just a different way to achieve the goal of high performance. Acceleration seems about equal. The 911 has a PDK trans and I can't come close to shifting that fast but I've always had a soft spot for manuals which was one of the reasons I bought the Mustang. I have driven the Porsche from Chicago to LA and many trips to the mountains and Southwest and hope to do the same in the GT350. Fit and finish is close but the Porsche would get the nod as it should seeing it was a $109K car 9 years ago. More to come next Spring.
