I drive GM products at work and was not impressed with the quality. More so my last Tahoe ‘15. It was a POS.

Pretty understandable. Does the Euro Mustang have the available PP 3.73 rear end? With the stock gearing ratios and 3.55 rear end the manual car feels like a dog in low RPM's and overall loses a lot of performance. The manual trans in the Mustang is fun to use but the performance aspect makes it feel like an afterthought, like it's only there for fun and nothing else. Whereas GM actually puts effort into making sure the manual and auto cars are at least in the same ballpark performance wise. The only plus in my opinion about having the long gearing is that you can really wind out the Coyote, but if you're trying to win races you just won't lol
The EU Models only get 3.55 axle ratio sadly. Even the Mach 1 will only get this here.

I didn't get a Camaro because good quality '67 convertibles are hard to find.

Kinda like this one If I could go to the dealer and buy one of these it would be a no-brainer.

That is so pretty... they really need to find these designers and if they are still alive, have them redesign the new Camaros

But truth be told, it would have been a HARD sell to bring myself to buy anything from the corporation that killed Oldsmobile Pontiac Saab and Saturn, especially Oldsmobile. #unforgiveablesin :-)
This is a good point

I could never abide by the styling. I was going to get a 1LE 1SS - a great car for the money - but I always hated the chop-top look of the gen 6.

This thread is full of lulz. The debates about the gas port... I guess I'm the only one who would actually prefer it on the "wrong" side. My wife is always driving, but it's usually me who gets out for the pump, from the passenger side. Do not mind going around the car, though. I like to look at how beautiful it is.

Catfish... lmao, cannot unsee it now. What did you do!

BTW, "komar" is a mosquito in Russian. Cannot take the Camaro name seriously. Sorry, Chevy folks.

I don't know why GM is hell bent on burying occupants in dark plastic. It's the same across most of their vehicles. I just never liked Camaros. Seems like everyone I knew who drove them were a-holes, so that didn't help matters. At the end of the day, I've had two prior Mustangs, and I simply like them better, looks, engine, everything. I tried, I really did, spent hours online, then got off my ass and test drove. Honestly, the second I sat in it I was like, "no"... Sometimes you just know.

Ok people, its been posted at Camaro6. They know this is a cross-forum post, and have been warned about it. If you decide to post over there, please be nice and respectful. We are all car people and either car is a win for anyone.

I think I like the Mustang forum better, after a while of reading the Camaro forum, it just sounded like blah, blah, blah. And I'm not just Ford biased. I own a Chevy truck. Give me the Mustang every time though.

they have supplements for that... :)

My wife drove some when we were in the car together but was rather lousy at it. Poor space control, poor situational awareness, poor navigation comprehension.

My parents, my mom drives most of the time. Not sure why aside from the fact she can't figure out how to use her Android phone nor Google Maps. They have a dedicated GPS unit on constantly which even does lane assist and she still can't follow the voice prompts and visual cues. Or seemingly remember how to get to places they've been to a million times over the same roads. Cognitive impairment? Or just ingrained 'laziness' resulting from not being forced to recollect on their own?

I bought my Gt350 because of the Shelby heritage and my dad had a 69 Mach 1 when he was younger. Also I don't f*ck my cousin, so I pretty much had to nix the Camaro.

Did you pick up something from WVa/KY on your way to Texas? Or is this a gratuitous swipe at the moral character and mental facilities of people who buy Camaros? If so, WTH? The Camaro6 guys on their corresponding thread have more class.

Pretty sure my ‘94 Mustang had the tank on the passenger side.
The worst thing about having the tank on the passenger side is that if you have a passenger who’s not paying attention, they could end up opening the door right into the concrete filled pole protecting the pump. Ask me how I know !!!
Sorry for not staying on topic.
And idiots that shoot through between a parked car at a pump and the the other pump island (nyc suburbs, the gas pump islands are usually placed really close to each other (space/realestate reasons?) I always cringe when wife opens passenger side door as I am afraid of someone shooting through and hitting my door (or her). This is because 14 years ago, I saw this happen where this older man opened his door (his cap on it side) and an suv tried to shoot between his car and my car.

The guy could have lost his arm. Of course the guy could have been more careful, but that suv had no business shooting between two parked cars at a gas station.

But I also recognize the logic in the cap being on rt side as that means one can fully open the door without hitting the pump, which means one can park closer to the pump and get out. In '95 I got the '96 pathfinder (left cap) and 1st week of my new car, I pulled in to get gas, opened my door to realize the gas station had placed this welded metal "box" halfway door height between the pumps, jutting out. I put a sharp ding in my door.

I asked the attendant why they put that here, as drivers can't get out w/o damaging their doors. He said that NJ law says drivers can't pump their own gas, so I shouldn't be getting out in the first place. I was being polite when I was talking to him, but now I was upset. I raised my voice and said, "I CAN'T GET OUT OF MY CAR TO GET A SNACK OR GO TO THE RESTROOM WHILE YOU PUMP THE GAS?!?" He went silent and had this, "i think my brain just exploded from the logic look"

The removed whatever this box was a few later, but i never went back to this station. So yes, I see that the left/tight side have their merits
