Gonna be a dumb(not researched) question: what radiator should I go with to upgrade my base GT? I'm not sure what the end game looks like, but FI is a possibility. A track day or three is also a strong possibility. Ultimately I want to replace this stock base radiator once and be done with it.

I dropped in the mishimoto radiator and cht's dropped from 230-250 to 190-210

Save your money the OEM radiator is fine, even with FI.

Non PP radiator? Are you saying the base model GT radiator is capable for sustained high revs and FI? From the little I know right now that doesn't seem right.

Good to know. I helped install one on my friend's turbo RSX years ago. Seemed like a well built piece.

Yes stock radiator is fine... very good. Lots of stock radiators in cars with blowers...look at all the stock GT’s Lebanon Ford has supercharged.

If your desd set on replacing it, probably the most important thing to do is buy one made in USA. Lots of these parts are Chinese junk. Check out Griffin.

Interesting, and good to know. My concern is sustained high RPMs and the additional thermal load from boost. If Ford upgraded the radiator in the performance pack they must of had a reason.

I have a lebanon ford vehicle. And it needed a radiator upgrade since the whipple intercooler was blocking the stock radiator.

I'm only looking at the end result with a strong leaning toward quality and purpose. I prefer American made, but the rest of the world can still provide good options.

And there's my concern. Sure you can run a one time pass on a dyno. I don't care about that. I want to know what's going to work today and everyday that comes after.

chicago traffic pre-covid in the summer meant I was sitting still in 100+ degrees and humidity and the car wasn't very happy about it

Once this COVID thing ends I'll be sitting in DC traffic every day I don't use my Lexus. I don't want to be concerned with any of that.

I ran mishimoto on my 350z and honda civic and never had a problem with anything except for the asshole fedex man that chucked the radiator box. Also a reische 170 degree thermostat is another cheap investment that helps a lot.

LOL thanks. I had a G35 coupe for a few years. I'm leaning toward a Mishimoto right now. Was hoping for a recommendation that is a big reason to go with something better.
