Good to hear; thanks. I have a jeweler's screwdriver set somewhere in the garage, so will look for it. Not sure if I'll try that, since I want to remove the wheels anyway to clean and put the Turtle Wax ceramic spray coating I have, to see if it helps with the dust not getting stuck.
JC, I was concerned about the pop-out method also, but when I tried one, it popped out so easy it surprised me. I used one of those small red Swiss Army pen knives. One of the blades has something that resembles a fingernail file with a flat end tip, I just used that, easy peasy.

Good tip. I tried a jeweler's screwdriver yesterday, and no luck. Didn't want to try any harder, or would have pierced the tape, and scratch the cap (I WILL reuse them. Ha ha). I have a Leatherman Wave tool somewhere, so will look for it, and check if it has an 'appendage' like what you described :like: . Thanks brother.

JC.. here are some pics to help you along.
I just wrapped it in the blue mask, and popped it out, no scratches on either cap or wheel.

UPDATE... the cap in the pic does have an abrasion because that was the first one I tried without the mask wrap. The other 3 with the mask wrap, don't have abrasions.
But I don't plan on using the original caps for anything.
No abrasions on my wheels, even the first didn't mark it up.

Yea it is I just saw your post too that sucks. He told me I should have it in a week (I’ve been waiting for 7 weeks already). I’ll keep you posted what happens.
