Finally found some wheels I like...thoughts on fitment...

Thanks for the link sir. There are a few on there that I like. I did notice only 8 where 19" and I didn't really like any of them. Out of that list (all 20") the Verde and Bathurst are my favorites..

There are others I like, but those models look to only come in Satin Black. If I could get this one in Gloss Black, the decision would be made.

My preference is Gloss Black, I would consider Gunmetal if I have too. That said, It is interesting to see that 20x11 Bathurst because I hadn't seen that offered on any other sites. Largest was a 20x10. I assume that 20x11 with 50mm offset will fit?

It is the minimum recommended wheel width for a 295 but its not optimal. The way you spend your money is obviously up to you. However this is a forum in which ideas are shared and if you are going to go through the expense of switching out tires and wheels (not a cheap expense at all) you should go what works best. A 295 tire won't perform any better on a 10" wheels than a 285 on a 10" wheel, in fact the edge might even go to the 285 tire.

One more thing, at 27-29lbs that isn't that much lighter than OEM. I would rather keep the OEM wheel than those if that's the case. I know you aren't into the SVE wheel lineup but my SVEs in 19X10 and 19X11 are 24lbs and 23lbs respectively. A win win would be an aesthetically pleasing as well as performance enhancing wheel. With the SVE wheels I saved approximately 40lbs of rotational mass and you can feel that, the car just feels so much lighter on its feet.

Thanks Dave. Certainly not taking anything as a criticism. After all, I asked for opinions. I agree that a lighter wheel is certainly important, and something I'm looking at with each set. A 19 would inherently be lighter, which is why I'm considering them as well. However, looking at the SVE wheels, the only once I really could see myself purchasing is this one.

That said, it only comes in 20x10 so I'd be at a 275 on all four corners. Was hoping for something larger. I do love that pricing though. Thanks for any comments.

All those Verde's are satin black.

Now I didn't see those Bathhurst wheels in 19x10.5, which would support a 295. That may be my best option so far. Could even do the 9.5s up front with 275s. I guess I missed them because their website filters them out when you input your vehicle details...notice the 19x10.5 isn't listed.

Perhaps it's because of the smaller offset?

You could run 285/30/20s squared with those. Also the SVE R350s look pretty close and you can get those in 19X10 and 19X11. They only weight 24lbs.

Thanks Dave. Yeah that's definitely an option that I'll write down. I did look at the the R350s, and while not my first pick, they are doable for me and it may come down to that. Would certainly be a cheaper option, and lighter.

Yep that's what I was thinking as well, which is probably why the TSW site filtered them out. So if the 27 ET is 16mm outside the fender, then the optimum is ET 43+ ? Most that I see are around 50mm on the rear. What about the front, what's optimum up there?

Usually a 50mm offset is for an 11" wide wheel. A 10.5" wheel has the same poke as a 11" wide wheel with an ET50.

Concavity will vary in each design, but as a general rule of thumb on newer Mustangs, you can't run a deep concave wheel in the front as it won't clear larger brake kits or fit under the fenders. Concavity is determined by the width and offset of the wheel. Anything that's 8.5", 9", etc wide will not be concave at all if it's going to fit onto a newer Mustang.

Our EC-7 and SM-10 Mustang wheels are available in 18" and 19" diameters, with widths ranging from 9.5" wide to 11.5" wide at the moment. They all use our "profile 2 - medium concavity" face which to be honest, is as concave or more concave then many other "DEEP CONCAVE" wheels companies try to sell.

Not sure the exact wheel mentioned above, but 28lbs is not light at all for a 19" wheel. Check out our lineup, they range from 23-25lbs for 19" options and feature a 1650-1670lb load rating.

These are only produced in Satin Black, which is pictured above. We generally prefer Satin Black as it stays much cleaner after driving on them with brake dust.

19x10" ET40 has no clearance issues up front with the PP brakes. Our 18" wheels also clear those brakes

pick your tires and then pick your wheels..

a 275 tire from one company can be different than a 275 from another, that number isnt what matters.

find tires you like, in a size you like, and look at the manufactures spec sheet for ideal range of wheel size for those tires. Then choose the wheels you like that fit that range.
