Changed my oil today at 17k. Definitely need to re-add the ceratec. The typewriter is definitely noticeable after draining the old oil with it.

Have to ask, one bottle of Ceratec or two? I have two sitting in my Amazon cart as we speak.

Installed BMR low profile jacking rails. They'll come in handy when I paint the brake calipers.

Ducting for brakes. I'll probably write something up in the DIY or technical-brakes forums.

Took advantage of the front end being off the car to do a few mods. I was a little nervous but managed it without a slip, scratch or paint chip :

I didnt want to break pins or glue the badge in so sourced some stainless fasteners :

Finally got my front speakers installed. 2-way Hertz MPK165P.3. (DSP and amp is in the trunk and are functional but not presentable as of yet). I did a double layer of Killmat installed on the outer door skin and a single inside the car. Machined some PVC spacers for a solid mount to the door and made some drip shields to protect the drivers. They sound glorious! All of Ford's audio engineers should be ashamed of what they put in the Mustang. YOU'RE ALL FIRED!

Ordered smoked taillight covers. And, a replacement high flow air filter since I'm at 21K miles.

have any before and after s from a distance?

What kind of prep did you have to do before applying that Turtle Wax ceramic spray coating? And did you just spray it, and let it dry out, or how it's supposed to be applied? Thx.

And to contribute, I painted the ugly mufflers black. They looked like crap from behind IMO.

Used one bottle of Ceratec on my ‘17 GT and the tick went completely away. 42,000 miles now and very happy.

Unfortunately no, brother. But looks much better. No un-painted/un-polished muffler looks good to me.

Two questions. Since when did you have the tick? And is the 2K rattle still present? Thx.

I installed the Steeda clutch steel braided clutch line. First and most important step in this is to hire a long armed small handed spider monkey to reach the connection point on the transmission. Other than that it is pretty easy. Make sure your clips don't get spread out on removal. They won't hold once you start bleeding the line if they are spread out even a little. Best thing about the line is it lowers the clutch engagement point. So now its closer to the floor like it should be.

How easy is it to swap out without taking it off the bumper? Is that what holds the pony emblem or are there screws?
