I’m thinking that some of the vibration I’m getting in 2nd gear maybe due to the reverse lockout collar buzzing in my hand. Anybody had any experience of the various upgrades on the market?

Make sure your pointing forwards, tape it all up with taught electrical tape and take it for a test drive ? It might save you some wasted money :like:

Yes Andy my collar broke apart and i have yet to do 1500kms in it after a year. I could have taken it back to the dealer for warranty but as i had changed the gear knob i could do without the argument that i could envisage and replaced it with the Barton collar. It's a huge improvement in feel and action, well worth the money, another one of those things most owners would have been happy to pay a few extra $$$ for from new. You wont be disappointed.
