I first ordered one on 02-17-2020 and it got canceled because of backorder to 03-16-2020!!! I then ordered one on 03-11-2020 and received it on 04-08-2020!!! I'll sell it for $6532.06 + S/H!!!

@AMBJR , I am supposed to be getting a call from the ford rep tomorrow. Let me see what she has to say. I’d hate to spend $7k on a Warranty job but you never know? After tomorrow I’ll have to weigh all my options. Whatever they might be.

I sure hope if Ford can't "find" one they currently own, they could work with you to purchase Allen's...but liability is a mystical monster with deep roots. Good Luck.

You said that as well as it could be written. I don’t even know if I personally had that one that Ford would accept it to be installed? My guess is no. I’m expecting a call tomorrow, we will se what they say. If I just get home I’ve got a garage full of fun cars, problem is that they are 1000 miles away from me at this point!! Lol STUPID VIRUS!

Currently 2 dealers in the country show they have one on the locator, but they are on backorder so they probably need them for their own shop. I would assume your dealer's parts department already tried to get these, but you never know. The date off backorder is 4/17 but that may change.

JB...just a thought. Since the service tech is cautioning on the side of safety by ordering the entire SC assembly due to metal shavings in the "intercooler", what if they check to see if they can get their hands on a new intercooler? If the IC is the only component in the SC that was compromised by shavings, it may solve the problem and get you on the road.
