Pay for the custom leather steering wheel I just ordered from Beith Performance.

I would spend the money to clean up the rear independent suspension to get the car to handle like it supposed to. All the rubber in the subframe doesn't do the car any favors. Steeda or BMR, take your pick, but way more stable and predictable.

definitely oil separators, maybe clutch spring, Steeda jacking rails.

Next in line for me, I'll get the spare tire from Automotive Authority and then get the Steeda front brace to reduce tramlining. I'm not an engine mod guy so that's not an option for me.

This is what I did for slightly over $1k using Steeda discount code

Sub-frame support brace for rear
GTrac front support brace
Vertical link
Front and rear sway bar links
Jacking rails
IRS subframe alignment kit

non-Steeda upgrades (~$1k)
MGW shifter
Ford performance driver and passenger side catch can
Extreme Z brake ceramic brake pads. No brake dust and stops just as good and better under heated conditions
AirFlow filter for better breathing

All in all. Around $2k spent on those upgrades.
All work done by myself. So saved a lot on labor.
But spent about $2k on quick jack lift and many shop tools, power tools, and various other tools. I did get the 3 Ton quick jack for $950 on major sale at Home Depot. (but all reusable so worth having)

Are you referring to the gtrac brace?

2019 GT350 does not have a clutch perch and spring.

I’m returning mine as there was not one to replace when I went to do it.

@JSong couple questions about the brakes: are you using Z26s? Did you change rotors? Asking because they advertise being particularly good with drilled rotors (15-18). Also, when you say heated conditions, as a street pad how hot are you talking? Thanks.

My plan when I do have the 1K to spend in a few weeks (tax return should be direct deposited) is new seat covers for my Excursion (daily). Have abused the truck since getting the car. So, the truck will get some love....

yes Z26 and I didn’t need to change rotors as my car only had lightly driven 4500 miles on it. The OEM pads were like new. So I saved them. But if I had anything over 15000 miles on them, yes I would have changed out the rotors and saved the old ones with the original pads. The new rotors are not that expensive. Also the new rotor and Z pads will last 2X the original. Ceramics don’t wear nearly as fast.

I kind of wish I replaced the rotors regardless. Save the stock with stock pads for backup.

There is ceramic disks too. But they are way too expensive. But they are light as a feather compared to the oem rotors and coupled with these ceramic pads, they will last a life time of vehicle. Won’t be doing any brake jobs ever. But should still replace fluids every 50k miles or so.

Thanks, that's helpful. Had a 2016 for 3 1/2 years before getting a 2019. OEM brakes were one thing about the car that was perfect in all conditions, but the dust is crazy. Wasn't sure if the Z26s would work well on solid (2019+) rotors, but based on your info I plan on switching to the Z26s. Thanks again for the run down.

Edit: Forgot to add an (unpaid) endorsement for Caliperfexion studs. They are a must!
