great info, thank you
2018 owner here and I'm very interested in both puddle lamp, and more so on possible BLIS addition. Has anyone done a BLIS retrofit to their 2018 MY?
All my cars have been dark gray. So Magnetic Gray was an easy choice.
Black stripes w white accents, I thought black stripes was looking better in general and with black wheels - so decision was made.
a question for people know better than me:
What's the difference between an X pipe resonator delete and straight pipe?
As far as I know, the car already has an X pipe before the resonators. So just cutting the resonators and welding straight pipes (2.5 I think?)
vs
cutting the factors X pipe...
I agree. The dealer taking the shifter-trans apart to look around gives me anxiety. MGW might be the solution to try first for couple hundred dollars.
OP, sorry for hijacking your thread for a minute : )
Nope.. I have a 2018, and at that time when I checked, it wasn't part of the recall. When I went to dealer for maintenance, they didn't tell me a recall either.
Also, my problem is not necessarily going from reverse into 1st. This rough first gear engagement happens when you sit on traffic...
I have a standard transmission and I have this issue from time to time as well. First gear is a little rough to get in. There were instances where I thought the car was in gear, but wasn't - made a cringeworthy khhhh noise.
When I posted that here, I was told by members that I wasn't alone, the...
just setting the record straight, that is not my post, I never had a Scion tC in my life. Probably got the names mixed up while quoting?
also, I didn't know my19+ has a linear spring as standard, that's good news.
I believe people (including me) change the clutch spring, because it's a 2 step spring system. From my experience on manuals, I prefer a linear pressure on clutch pedal, and that's why I have the Steeda clutch spring and like it more than OEM.
But I acknowledge that OEM might be to other...
This is nice if you want your car to be a little more "Shelby" and also getting a CSM number is a big deal.
But, I personally would go to the Hennessy HPE850 treatment way if I wanted to spend $10K on my car. That's more 'badass' in my preference.
well, as others said, the back side of dipstick shows the 'clear' line a little better.
But I agree with your frustration, as in the dipstick placement on this engine is awful and especially with the strut and oil catch can in the way, it's impossible to pull the dipstick straight up, you bend...
I have the same little puck with magnet on the back of the phone. However, I did not attach it to a vent. I wanted it away from sight, so the puck is stuck with double sided tape to the side of the middle console, right on the gap next to my right leg. and the phone cord is coming from under the...
all.. please DO NOT use dryer sheets on your paint if you care about it.
If you are a normal person and not a detailing crazy like most of us, go ahead. But if you care about your paint, swirl marks, and looks, dryer sheet basically is an abrasive like sandpaper to your paint. Follow proper...
