yes Z26 and I didn’t need to change rotors as my car only had lightly driven 4500 miles on it. The OEM pads were like new. So I saved them. But if I had anything over 15000 miles on them, yes I would have changed out the rotors and saved the old ones with the original pads. The new rotors are...

I just ordered the MGW shifter today. If I am going to go through all fo this for a replacement shifter, it mine as well be for a crisp and great shifter. I do feel the original shifter from Ford has too much play and loose tolerance.
Check out the installation instruction from Ford if...
Maybe I will try out the MGW shifter then. I would like to see what change they did to the part to fix this. But the plastic ball on the original shift knob is unacceptable IMO. For that alone, I could not stay with the stock shifter. Either FP short throw which seems to be more work, than...
Definitely a more beefier reverse lockout, but still plastic material. The ball is steel, and so I would imagine less play. But the price of this is the same as getting a new Barton shifter, and MGW is slightly more.
If this was $100 part, I would install it, but at $398, what is Ford...
Hmm, I wonder why they sent me the ford notice today... I will call ford and ask for the part so I can inspect it myself. If it is the same ole plastic, I am not going to bother with it. I will just replace the whole thing with MGW or Barton shifter. I am leaning barton as it preserves the...
Also, I really don't trust the dealer to fix anything on the GT350. I even do my own oil change, replace the pads to Extreme Z series to cut down on all the brake dust, and stops just as good.
BTW, if anyone who reads this don't know. Replace the plastic oil drain plug every time you change...
What did they do to the reverse lockout to fix the old issue? That is what I would like to know. Did they use better material for the reverse lockout piece? I ask this, because I don't want to waste my time bringing it into the Ford dealer to have them work on this portion if all they are...
Have you ever had situation where it didnt engage into first and grinded the gears slightly? It happened to me a few times and I thought it was my shifting, but now I am convinced it was this issue. I got a recall notice from Ford about this, and it doesn't lock into gear as crisply and...
Also a few times, I missed going into first gear and one time it pop'd back out from first and wa slight grind sound. I was thinking it was my shifting, but after reading about this issue and the recall notice, I am now convinced it is this issue that isn't making positive enough shifts under a...
How did they rectify it? Mine is 2019. If they rectified it, why after 4 years of it being out, are they asking me to bring the car in to replace it? And what is the new part made of? Is it any different? That is what I want to know. Thanks
Yes the reverse lock out piece. That is what everyone is complaining about. And that is what I got the recall about. How did they fix that? Did they replace it with a metal part? The plastic lockout is a big issue when you slam it hard during track days.
Is there an aftermarket part that can replace the stock one made of plastic? I think that may fix this whole situation. i did receive a recall notice from Ford. I wonder if they have a metal version or just a redesigned plastic. Or maybe put on a Barton shifter and be done with it.
I am also beginning to wonder if the high reving VooDoo engine is not meant for super charging. Maybe this is why Ford engineering changed the same engine to use cross plane crank so it does not rev as high with the super charger that comes with GT500.
The most I think I would do this the GT...
