FYI. Came back from Autorama in downtown Detroit today. Tried to visit every vendor. One of them was Edelbrock and I spoke at length with the rep who actually knew some things. He gave the sales pitch on their blower and he had some pieces of info that made sense about torque and the tried and true Eaton internals. I also spoke for some time with a real knowledgeable guy at Ford Performance part about their blower which uses the same Eaton internals. He said that to their (Ford Performance) knowledge no gen 2 or 3 coyotes with their blower have had OPG failures.

This agrees with Alternative Auto in Chesterfield, MI who said he has never replaced a set on any of the Mustangs they have SC'd and know of no failures. Just FYI.

Did you ask if their carb certified 1 @ 2 tunes have a10 TCU limiters removed to 150 mph...? I have seen the stage 1 logs and they stumble 120 mph and limp mode @ 128 mph. ;)

I can cross reference that with my well known source who ALSO said not a single EB has broken the OPG and I just bounced off the 8k revlimiter yesterday...lol but I do have them....

I have a video with telemetry from the log doing 126mph in stage 1 with the EB tune....full 1/4 pass on street....cant speak to the 128 except to say I have done that stage 2 and may or may not have a video to prove it

You blew 2 motors Chief. Must be that that great over boosted setup (Boost and tuning) on pump via ED. We have ALL heard your long winded explanations. Thank you. Next...

He had a Lund tune at some point. He’s got other issues, like rodents eating wiring harnesses, going on. But yes, you can’t beat a custom tune.

That's the weak ass engines fault, EB tried to give us more power with Stage 2 than the junk would hold on 93...its specifically the 12 to 1 cast piston in the bore however it's an ass gapper with 2psi off it...AND they paid for it ALL.....

Which has ZERO to with what you asserted which is that it stumbles at 120mph which absolutely doesn't.....chief.....

So if you assert the Stage 2 provides more boost than the 12 to 1 cast piston in a plasma bore gen 3 engine can handle, ( gen 2 would), then I'm with ya but I can personally disprove your actual post....

No, just get it aftermarket tuned (slight pulley adjustment) like yourself and most do. ;).

We don’t need another 10 paragraph diatribe.
Sounds like you didnt read them, attention span of a 4 year old I presume.....but the EB tune was great for me once a few psi of boost was removed and I will be running them back to back in the 1/4 soon. Got rest of my suspension work done yesterday.......in fact on longer trips I use the EB tune it gets 3mpg more.......

Poor Edelbrock tried to provide us with more power but these junk gen 3s just wont hold it on 93.....tuned or not....that's just a fact as Lund and others have corroborated.....dont hate the blower hate the engine....personally I applaud them for trying to give us more power, since when is a company shit for doing that?

They didnt know all these 12 to 1 cast piston secondary ring land issues ( same with whipple) using pump gas were gonna crop up....Ford seems to be moving away from DI as well they tried to provide us the best cooling and power and did.....These engines fail stock a lot....
