Looking at these logs back to back made me think of a question.

Is it better to preserve more timing or boost? For instance: on 8lbs I was getting flat 22deg of timing at wot. Now at 10-11lbs I’m getting around 19deg. Which is preferable? I would assume power trade off is pretty close between the two.. I could way off on that.

On pump gas I’ll rather have the timing while keeping boost at a safe level, if fuel is subpar the tune will pull some timing via KR and keep it safe. If you choose boost and the fuel is subpar the PCM cannot pull boost.

If your car was dyno tuned on pump gas at 8psi and they gave you 19* for example, that was at the point the tuner felt added timing would not benefit power without risk. If you pullied down on your own after that you’re just adding boost and the scaling on the tune is pulling timing. You need to look to improve fueling.

If you’re on E85 and you pullied down from 8-11psi and lost timing send a couple logs to your tuner. 11psi with P1sc on E85 is 21-22* of timing no problem.

Yeah I’m on e85... that’s what I was thinking. I don’t see why it should be pulling timing. There’s a lot of negative knock being recorded

Scaled for safety in case people get pulley happy.

Warmer air on this log than last. = less boost

Totally makes sense.. that wouldn’t have anything to do with the timing being pulled correct?
