I'm not gonna be modest. Having an S550 Gen 2 is still a head turner. People at work have complemented me. Others have less nicer things to say. One guy asked me "Still burning money on fuel? What do you get? 8 MPG?" I told him "Nah, it's 15 and I only live 5 miles away so I only have to fill up every other week." He smiled and and made other insults like what else is better than a Mustang. I had nothing witty to reply with and I feel stupid. What are some good comebacks for us?

If you're curious, he drives a Toyota Tacoma.

"In order for you to haul ass in your Tacoma you'd have to make 2 trips."

If it is has the TRD package, ask why it says "TURD" on the side. My friend had to have the decals removed by the dealer before taking delivery due to my preparatory shit-giving.

If not, just tell him his truck is cute.

Truck people and car people are 2 different breeds. Want to tick him off, tell he’s got a nice Nissan.

Not sure about current model Tacomas, but fuel economy probably isn't a thread that he wants to pull on... My Tacoma driving brother was dissing my other brother's full size, 4-door turbo diesel about fuel economy. Until full-sized brother informed him what his mpg is. Tacoma brother fell silent. The 3/4 ton turbo diesel makes about the same mpg but nets 10 times the ability to do real work.

As for the Mustang vs "..."

You could simply compare the fun of driving the Mustang vs boring "..."

Or...

Ask him how many people have gone out of their way to compliment or talk to him this week about his run of the mill pickup truck.

I've easily had more than dozen people go out of their way, both on foot or while driving down the road, to compliment, comment, or ask about the iconic Mustang.

I don't see that happening for a Tacoma, but maybe?

I can get 26 on the highway, and mid-size trucks are cute. It's too bad they don't come in pink.

Seriously? If a guy with a Tacoma was insulted my Mustang GT, I'd probably just laugh at him. I wouldn't even take him seriously.
Probably tell him I would have gotten a Tacoma too if I wanted to get bent over by a dealer buying something big, slow, and zero fun..
