Earl: I just spoke with Noah and after he said, "Still sitting in Produced," I asked if he had any way of checking on whether either of the updates had been done.

After a minute or so he came back and said, "You've got painted stripes, right?" I say "yeah." He says "Your car is currently getting the stripes painted."

So, it passed the Mod Shop without any data stump status change so I guess we can forget about looking for that.

He said the painted stripes are taking two WEEKS. How in the world can Ford make money on that deal? I don't see Penske being cheap or foolish.

Anyway, if what Noah saw is true, Released-IP should be her next stop. This of course, made my day but still January delivery estimate.

KB, that is exactly what I previously stated two days ago about my October 21st CFTP car. Ford Performance stated to me updates completed, finishing in Mod Shop, going to Penske for stripes (2 weeks) and delivery to Seattle in January. Shortly after, my dealership calls and states FP indicates delivery in Feb/March - but maybe they were being very conservative as the apology letter was in the conversation.

I also have observed no changes in the Ford Vehicle Tracking or Data Dump web-sites since my production date of October 21, except the estimated delivery day increasing 1 day every day since the November 13 countdown. I am currently at 23 days and fully expect another day to be added this afternoon.

I am glad to see consistency between our cars and very happy for everyone who has seen confirmed movement. I am confident that we will receive our cars in short order.

My salesman just texted me my railcar # and that it shipped via Canadian National Railways is this what I need to track the car?

Interesting. How the hell do you get the railcar number and can that be tracked?

You need to call your dealer and ask them for a Vehicle Visibilty Report (Full History), the railcar number will be there.
As far as tracking. Use the CSX option.

Ron: Yep, pretty amazing how closely our two have followed the production path. My countdown timer is at 9 days so you're way ahead of me. Just saw in the Production post that 23 vehicles had gone to Penske so far and only 1 has returned...hence the two weeks I would imagine.

But I'm going to stop sweating bullets every day, enjoy the nice weather, drive my '14 some, then head up to Oh High Yo to be with family for Christmas, back on 01JAN I believe. Hopefully, she'll be on her way by then and my wait will be minimal.

Man, I had great plans for the drive from Missouri to NY. At this point I may just fly there to meet my dealer and hopefully get it onto an enclosed transport or if Mother Nature decides to ease up I just might haul 14+ hrs worth of ass home. Not the most scenic but it'll be time in the car before the weather turns to complete shit for the next few months. We shall see. At this point I'm just glad she finally hitched a ride and I hope you guys see the same shortly.

My dealer provided the railcar number. Four letters followed by six numbers. I followed the procedure in Earl's PDF and this is exactly what was stated...

Empty.
Has Been released by the customer.
Richmond California on CNSF on October 16th at 5:53PM.
And there is no ETA available.

I don't get the "Richmond California" thing or why the date is from some time ago. I'll stay on it and follow any changes.

I sent in a request on creating a customer account with CNR so I can accurately track the railcar. I'm waiting on them to approve or decline my request so we will see.
