I've been thinking of doing a rear gear swap to 4.56 in my 18 350. I'm apprehensive because I do not want any gear whine or rear end noise. Can anyone recommend a competent shop in Long Island NY to do the swap?

I went with 4.88s. Not sure about up there in NY, but I went to East Coast Gear Supply here in NC. I love the extra torque from the 4.88s. It feels like a completely different car. But unfortunately it really messed with the ECM. Now trying to get all the faults to go away (see my other thread here).

PM John Vallo along with doing a search on 4.09 and 4 56 gear swaps. Most comprehensive write-ups that you will find on the entire internet for an S550 gear swap IMHO.
