So I did a thing.... i have had my 2018 GT a year and a half and even with the Ford Performance Track Suspension package the front nose seems off visually to me. I decided to try and design an aesthetically pleasing and functional front splitter. I mocked up the first one, pictures below, and after a few adjustments for mounting I have a second prototype in process. Material is 1/8" aluminum and the second proto will be painted black. I will update once I get it finished and mounted. Please excuse the cardboard boxes, I was using them to hold it in place to check fitment. Thoughts?

With the bare metal, they have a kind of Mad Max/Death Race 2000 look, like you want to chop off pedestrians at the ankle. I expect it will look more people-friendly when it's painted.

I clicked on this thinking it would be a plain piece of PVC sheet cut to a generic shape, but that looks rad man. Are those middle pieces anchoring it to the bumper or are you putting rods into it? Leaving it bare metal or getting it coated somehow?

The middle peices will anchor to the bumper and next one should line up with the grill angles better. I am painting it satin black. I'm out of town this week but I have the next prototype made already and it should be painted when I return. More pics to follow.

I like it, looks pretty badass. I really like how you continued the V look with the horizontals from the upper section. Is the final product going to be metal?

No kidding, there are some smart and talented people on this site.
Thanks everyone.. second round proto with slight adjustments for fitment and mounting is complete. Same material, .125" aluminum. Should be painted by Monday (satin black). Hoping to mount it this week if I get some time on the lift. More pics to follow.

that looks so good you should sell these hahahaha but I wonder how it would look if you used the traditional support rods for splitters but, the sheet metal supports is probably more functional, cheaper, and looks sick too

Mounting day for the second prototype. Kinda nervous about drilling into a perfectly good bumper...

Mounting went well. Don't mind how dirty the car is, I know she needs a bath. I'll try to take some better pics when it clears up. Big thanks to my buddy @pacomotorsports for helping with everything.

That looks really sharp. And the way the mounting brackets are angled to match the grill helps tie it all together. Very professional-looking, IMO.

Sexy. If you could get them rounded off a bit, or maybe even get something like this 3-D printed, it'd be awesome. It would almost look stock at that point which really makes things jump IMO.

And if you could add a button that makes them shoot off into the person in front of you so they move their ass, I'd give you my credit card # on the spot.
