...it be to install a DVD/Nav radio in a 2012 Mustang GT?
Gonna buy the car for my Grandson and want
to install a newer Radio.
Anyone done this???????

I sat here for like 10 minutes and I'm still gonna be "that guy" and I apologize in advance.

Why on earth would you sabotage your grandson with a DVD player to watch when he should be driving? Movies are for home and theaters, not for cars. How old is he? Is this his first car? I look back and am happy my first car was a honda that went 0-60 in two weeks and know I did all I could to make it a few days faster and tested it every stoplight.

As far as install....I have nothing to help...realizing now I maybe didn't need to reply at all.....It's Friday!!!!

I installed one in my 2013 (4 speakers) with Sync without any issues. Here is what I bought:

Also, might as well replace the crap paper speakers while the wallet is open. You can get very good replacement speakers for not much $. If memory servers the front door speakers and the rear deck speakers are the same on the 2013.

Lastly, if I had to do it over, I would not have spent money on a HU with navigation. I ended up using both Google maps and Waze via Apple Carplay.
