I love when a cheap mod blows away your expectations. Just installed the Steeda clutch assist spring/perch, and wow, night and day difference. I really didn’t like the factory pedal feel and sloppy engagement point. I think this as an absolute must for any MT owner.

Besides reusable filters, my favorite budget mod so far would be replacing the yellow interior bulbs with LED lights.
I have a K&N filter that was $50. Happy with that one too, but you get more “feel” from the clutch assist spring. Good thinking on the led interior lights.

BG Syncroshift II for the transmission from opmustang.com. Otherwise, I'd concur on LED interior bulbs, particularly the middle ones, make a very nice difference.

At just about $100, the CB010 lockout level 1.

Under $100?
The Steeda 2 point front brace, especially if you've added wider tires / rims. Really reduces tramlining and stiffens up the front end.

That’s actually the next mod coming my way. Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. Will definitely need to give the BG Syncroshift 2 a try.

For me the biggest difference for the car was changing brake fluid to Motul RBF660 this made the shifting much better, overheating brakes harder and overall improved the car.

Yeah, the clutch spring swap is amazing, totally changes the car (in the best possible way), takes 5 minutes and is easily reversed.

I also [on my previously owned '16] added a GT350 OEM knob tapped for the GT shifter, and swapped to a black, Delrin reverse lockout - looked amazing, felt good, added a little color to the interior. New they might be a little over your $100 limit (though I got mine used, both together for < $100 :D)

Awesome! The thread wasn’t really meant to be a question about the best mod for under $100. More just me saying the clutch assist spring is the best mod I’ve done for under $100. Pretty cool to see people giving ideas though!

Soft floor mats,
High speed cigarette lighter phone charger.
Howler badges
Quick latches for front bumper!

Haven't tried these yet but plan to in a few days:
Gold foil tape for intake
Header and intake heat shields
X-pipe (technically more than 100)
Weighted shift knob

Plastidip - 5.00 gives amazing results!
I'm also going to buy some VHT paints and spray my coil covers :) for 20.00 that should be a really fun project
