It was a tough decision but I just wasn’t in love with the convertible and the GM/dealer incentives on the unsold 2019 Camaro SS models were SO good. First, I love the S550, incredible car. For me, the Camaro feels super solid and planted in cornering as well, along with power on tap just about...
Haha, damn! I definitely don’t think of my Mustang as an attention getting car, they are super common, as you said. I meant specifically, convertibles and old people driving them. The demographic seems to be much younger in the fastback/coupe.
Or does it get discouraging seeing so many old silver haired ladies driving around in convertible Mustangs? Usually Ecoboost or V6 models. Really starts to take away from the “I have a cool car” feeling. Please change my mind.
Those are cool looking. Just know that you are likely paying an additional $350 for appearance. I doubt they would net you more than 1 whp over a drop-in filter. Headers and tune would definitely help!
Completely agree. After quite a bit of reading and seeing Dyno results, a drop in K&N style filter seems to perform just as well, if not better than many CAI designs. I found 2 studies that picked up 7-8 whp with a K&N filter alone.
It’s not a matter of can or can’t. In my opinion, a vert GT500 would actually degrade the prestige of it from basically being a street legal race car.
May get roasted for this but I actually hope they don’t make a vert GT500 or GT350, going forward. In my mind, a “race” car should have a fixed roof.
Refund actually posted to my bank account today, so all good. Thanks again for your offer to support if needed. Going to hold off on buying again, for now. Sometimes I’m still on the fence about whether I like the larger spoiler or my blade spoiler more.
Awesome! The thread wasn’t really meant to be a question about the best mod for under $100. More just me saying the clutch assist spring is the best mod I’ve done for under $100. Pretty cool to see people giving ideas though!
