Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

That's a KILLER price for a car that you're going to run at the drag strip as you want to keep weight down and don't need the goodies because it's just a drag car.
That's not for me though. Killer pricing though.

Haven’t seen the Roush Blower pop an engine, not saying it hasn’t happened but for the most part it doesn’t seem to happen?

I have heard of no engine failures with the Roush, either. Everyone says the drivability is top notch, too. It is too bad about the IC design and resulting heat soak issues. I am sure it is a very nice street setup, though.

Just depends on how far u wanna push the engine

In stage 1 I believe all 3 perform equal, it’s when u push them harder where the EB & Whipple shine

Its getting real bad, Roush looks better and better
I'd rather run 10.80 to 11.00 and not break than go 10.6 and break within weeks of installs...

Hopefully it's nothing major and that it's nothing to do with the Whipple tune, which I'm guessing it does not. Maybe an install issue? Something loose?

The engines toast, he confirmed it...
But he's been driving it for a while, could've been bad 93 and this is why u need to ALWAYS add some kind of octane additive just for safety reasons. I know I would add a 1/2 can of boostane or octanium to every tank if I was boosted regardless of blower setup

Wow, really??? Was there a video where he said it's toast? That sucks.
I run 93 octane in my car without any octane boosters. Car is all stock anyways and it's tuned for the 91 octane.

Does he say what it is that in fact killed the engine, or he doesn't know for sure?

Hasn't diagnosed it but I assume they leaked it or he wouldnt of said its toast
