Today's update, Bumped to week of 12/02!!!

I'm pissed... Hard to take delivery of a sports car (with summer rubber) in norther Canada in winter! This is how a childhood dream deflates... I'm on the fence of walking away from my deposit. My car was to spend most of its time as a garage queen, only coming out on sunny summer weekends, pampered and putty away in the shoulder seasons and winter.

Don't know which route to take, so will likely sit on it for a bit and see if it gets pushed into warmer weather for the build...

Gave my deposit to Ford and get no explanation on why there is a delay with the build... not the service I expected when ordering the "Most powerful Mustang ever!"

Im beyond pissed.

I feel bad for you folks. I haven’t been the ultimate cheerleader for the 500, but delays like this can truly sour the excitement for owners.

I empathize. Keep your heads up and don’t cancel because of some timing delays.

For those that are upset, consider ordering a 2021 instead... and buy a cold air bolt on for your daily driver to scratch the itch lol.

Yeah exactly. Some can’t swing that, but for those who can it’s an option.

Sometimes a racing school for a day or two on a beautiful weekend can scratch the itch too.

Driving school is a cool option but for me it is being able to go out to my garage and see a new beauty. Then know I can take it out for a drive whenever I so choose. Everyday I look at 350Rs and fight my natural urge to buy one. Half cause I know its a silly decision financially and 2nd I worry I will love it so much that ill give up on the 500.

I guess time will tell.

This is all great for all who are getting the dealers first allocation, but I turned down the dealers cftp first allocation and went for his second, which was a base model. Now I am going crazy hearing ever one is getting pushed back. First was told could order in early September, then got pushed to early December with early spring delivery. Anyone else in the same boat, and if so what have you been told from your dealer or from fp when you might be able to order yours with expected delivery.
