Hey 6G!

Below is my brand new 2019 Kona Blue PP1 A10. She's my first Mustang ever and I couldn't be happier!

I have plans to make it into the best DD possible (as many people around here do) with upgrades to handling and looks with no real power mods on the horizon.

Here's a before picture (or 2) and hopefully before too long the after doesn't look too similar:

I installed:

-OEM Black Badges
-Steeda X-Pipe

I have the factory Active Exhaust so adding the X-pipe made an already good sounding exhaust sound soooo good. It really sings about 3.5-4k and even has some pops on downshifts and plenty of rumbles.

Since everyone knows what black badges look like here's a picture at Sonic with a buddy

My exterior goal is a blue and black look. Black badges were the first step, next is getting rid of some of the reds. Picked up these smoked lens LED side markers and I have to say they look realll good. replacing the single dull incandescent bulb with the led strip in these makes a world of difference.

Made an "uh-oh" while installing the black GT badge (somehow pulled a chunk of the decklid out with the old chrome badge). While it was pretty hard to see I knew it was there and it bugged me to no end. Bought a replacement blank Ford Performance decklid and a blackout Coyote badge from MF Auto Designs.

Love the way it turned out!

Pic of the damage (and very dirty decklid):

Small details! Car came with ugly green valve stem caps because ~nitrogen~ filled tires....

Picked up some black titanium ones and even with a little bit of the brass showing it still looks miles better.

Long time no posts! A little catch up, I installed some 25mm hubcentric spacers on all 4 corners to fill out the fenders.

I definitely like the look and it’s been a good stopgap while I search for a wheel/tire combo I like.

I also installed some Euro style taillights and I LOVE the look. They’re the “China” ones and fit isn’t show quality but it’s definitely good enough for me. Took it into the mountains of SC, NC, and Ten several times this fall and learned a great deal about the car.

BUT now that winter is here it’s time to make some upgrades! Time for better steering, less body roll, more grip, and some better looks. Stay tuned...

Looks great man. I went with the ford performance track handling kit. While it is not adjustable it made a huge difference. Car rides like it is on rails now.

Thanks! I’m actually headed down to Steeda this Thursday and getting a whole bunch of their goodies put on.

Steeda Lateral Link and Bumpsteer Kit
Steeda Front Sway Bar
Steeda Fr. Cont. Arm Tension Links w/Bearing

Steeda's S550 Extreme G-Trac Brace
Steeda Adjutable Bump Stop Kit Front & Rear
Front Camber Plates

And at Steeda of course:

Had about a 4 hour drive back and I never thought the car could feel so tight and composed. The things that impressed me the most were the steering feel/response and the ride quality (it didn’t feel any rougher than stock, just less bouncy). I’m more than ready to get on some mountain twisties and truly feel the changes though. A big shoutout to @tj@steeda and the guys in Valdosta for taking such good care of me.
