Had about a 4 hour drive back and I never thought the car could feel so tight and composed. The things that impressed me the most were the steering feel/response and the ride quality (it didn’t feel any rougher than stock, just less bouncy). I’m more than ready to get on some mountain twisties and truly feel the changes though. A big shoutout to @tj@steeda and the guys in Valdosta for taking such good care of me.
Car looks great :)

Forgot to post about this but I was seeing some pretty high cylinder head temps while pushing it in the mountains, especially uphill (duh). Poked around a little bit and decided to go for an upgraded Mishimoto rad. Installed in September and took it out into the mountains a couple more times. Was still seeing elevated temperatures and eventually realized my coolant level was low. Did a flush again and made sure I got the level correct this time and I’ve been pleased with the lower temps. Time will tell if this will be enough or if I’ll eventually add an oil cooler as well.

Cosmetic Mods Time! Today I installed the following exterior parts:

Cervini C-Series Upper and Lower Grilles
ZL1 Addons Tow Hook
Drake Muscle Cars Signal/Fog Covers
Rally Innovations 3-Piece Front Splitter
Rally Innovations Side Skirts

Overall it was a pretty smooth install. The front bumper on our cars definitely isn’t hard to take off but taking the grilles out of the bumper is a task straight from hell. My friend’s and my fingers got chewed up trying to get those tabs out. But we got it and after some fine tuning with the Cervini grille we had the front bumper back on the car. I had to cut some of the new grille mesh for the tow hook to work but it looks good and you can barely see it. The Rally Innovations parts were very straightforward to install and like the subtle styling it adds to the car. Lastly the signal/fog cover; I was surprised how much I liked these on the car, they add some personality for sure.

I’ve had my Uniden R7 for a couple of weeks now and I’m just getting around to posting about it. I installed it using a Blendmount rear view mirror mount and also tapped into the auto dimming mirror using one of their taps. Makes for a pretty slick, clean install.

New exhaust day! When I first got the car I did a Steeda cut/clamp x-pipe and was pretty satisfied. But after a while I was ready for some change and the stock tips just never did it for me. Additionally the shop that installed it didn’t do the best job and the tips were slanted pretty badly (see post #10). I still wanted to keep the active exhaust features as I really enjoy being able to make the car silent on longer roads trips and during phone calls. Looking at my options from the “top” names (Borla, Corsa, Magnaflow) it was going to be an expensive endeavor ($1800+). Then I came across MBRP’s Cat-Back Exhaust System Pro-Series With Carbon Fiber Tips with Active Exhaust. It’s seemingly a pretty new product from them as there weren’t any reviews and the only video I could find was the product announcement on YouTube from December 2019. But for less than 1500 (with a coupon code) direct from MBRP I decided it was worth a shot. Shipping was free and fast and the build/finish was pretty damn good. 304 SS, Carbon Fiber Tips, and 3”. Install was simple and went smoothly and I love the new look. Sound wise it’s crazy how much deeper it is than the Stock Active mufflers and X-pipe. Even with the valves open it’s not terribly loud lower in the rev range but it comes alive when you start getting on it. I’m excited to hear it echoing in the mountains soon!

Hey I'm new here but have checked out this site off and on since I was thinking of buying a Mustang. Pulled the trigger this weekend and gave a deposit on one of Lebanon Fords Rousch Supercharged GTs. I have enjoyed reading your build I would like to ask you questions via PM if it is OK with you. Love the color of your car. I went off the grid this time with color since I already have two gray cars, a black car, and Longbeach Red car. I'm in Augusta also.

Where about in Augusta are you? I'm just off Deans Bridge Road not far from Augusta Tech.

Hey, I thought I had seen your car before. I come over to Villa Europa to get my German fix. I'm on the edge of Grovetown just past Fort Gordon.
