Foot brake technique with twins

I had trouble pushing through the brakes on the 2step and footbrake. I wonder if its because I have a 2B and you have a 3B.

What do you have it set at? Im at 3k and my brakes hold just fine.

If I am happy I will quit trying to get better and that just wont work for me! I will say that I was excited to go 1.45 my first time out on this setup.

Same 3k. Is there any technique to help apply more brake pressure once staged? Maybe pumping the brakes or something? Or just floor the brake, floor the gas, let off the brake and hold on lol.

I had no luck using the 2step and foot brake on my car with a 245 3C. The car would just push before it made any boost. I threw a 2B in the car and still couldn't make any boost. Best 60ft was in the 1.5 range. Threw a 2 relay transbrake and on a good track it has been 1.28 60ft leaving at 3700 and 5psi.

I have stock suspension except for BMR cradle lockouts. The day it went a 1.28 lots of other guys were having traction problems. I have the 4R200 hub which lowers the 1st gear and that seems to help as well.
