Has anyone from Canada in the past bought a new vehicle from a US dealership OR from a Province you do not reside in?

Unfortunately I am not getting a msrp deal so I retrieved my deposit today. Asking $50k over msrp. With everything other than CF and Painted stripes I’m at $125k CAN after tax,lic, plus the 50k adm lmao. I’m a cash sale and I told them I have patience and brains... (not meant to offend anyone, just saying!)

It is hard enough to move to united states and not have a local address and state drivers license to buy a car. Let alone be a foreigner

The dealer license with ford does not allow them to sell the car for a known export.

Used cars much less problem. There are brokers who will help for a fee

OP, as the above post mentioned, you'll want to stick to Canada. Getting one from south of the border just makes things more complicated.

In Wpg, MB. I. AM. PISSED at Ford. I wanted to order a 2020 GT350R (which was 12K more than a ZL1 1LE already, more if you count on financing) but now they raised the price by 6550 CAD and added / changed NOTHING but color options!? FUCK. THAT. I mean, alright, Iconic Silver takes the best color title from Avalanche Grey but seriously... 6550 CAD... LOVE the car, been dreaming of it for a year now, have the cash, but I ain't THAT much of a fucking sucker either... They will retain (higher-ish) value but they WILL depreciate.

I see you are currently driving a GT350R. Are you looking at upgrading or just adding a second one to the stable? You're right about the price hike, though...it definitely sucks.

No, that is the car I entered. I couldn't "sign up" without putting something in there. I guess I should list my 93 Fox...

2019 ONLY. I know where they are getting a Velocity Blue in (not even at the Dealer yet)... 2018, nope. At this point I should note, I am paying under MSRP. 500 coming sure has deflated these and too boot, a 5th year of productions, likely a 6th after...

Yeah, things definitely changed over the years. Not so limited after all...not that I'm upset about that. R's are still pretty rare, anyway.

Your numbers are off a bit. @PP0001 has a more exact number, but I thought it was around 2500 Rs only.

2015 - 37
2016 - 600ish
2017 - 900?
2018 - 600?
2019 - 400 I think

I could be wrong yeah. Not sure how many 2019... (yet).

They said 2800 for 2020 and 30% are Rs (which is 840...) I would suspect there is more than 400 Rs and if not, could dealers of ordered more of them?

AB only has a 5% tax which you would have paid in SK plus 6% . I assume I would just get charged the difference when I bring it home to Ontario

$500. But the dealer had an enclosed
Trailer they cart their race car around in, so they were coming to my home town and dropped it off for cheap!
