The Blockit is placed right over your existing factory trunk carpet. Its pre cut to fit perfect. Installation is about 60 seconds.

Its a thin and very lightweight damping product. Its weight to performance ration is great.
You simply cut,peel & stick. My only concern is if the area gets hot (if the cats sit right under it) .

Yeah, definitely I would have to cut those off. My OCD would go nuts looking at those tabs.

Edit: Are those wrinkles I am seeing on a new installation? Whatever those lines are, they look a bit unsightly to me.

It was rolled up in the box a minute before I took the picture, it relaxed and reformed over night.
