about to install one of these. what are my options?

watched the american muscle video and looks simple enough, but that location takes up quite a bit of boot/trunk space. can fit 2 decent sized suitcases in at the minute, won't if i put it there.

Spare wheel well is obviously an option, but i also like to use this space for luggagey stuff on roadtrips. is there anywhere else people have used? such as behind the carpets on the sides etc?

thanks

You can put it in the trunk on the top mounted the way American Muscle did along the rear view mirror brace, or you can put it behind the plastic piece of the back seat side armrest.

I like that second idea.

Once its tuned is there any reason id need to easily access the settings on it?

Not really honestly, if you are dyno tuning just have the back panal off for the dyno day so the tuner can adjust and set it completely, once its set you are good to go, i only checked on mine ever once in awhile like every oil change.

Is there a specific place you would mount it? Or is there loads of room? Ive had that panel off before but cant recall how much room there was, any pics anywhere?

Not great pics but here is where I mounted mine. nice and out of the way on the bottom of the rear shelf in the trunk. And you can feed the wires through the trough with holes in it right behind it.

It's not something that needs to be adjusted often. Typically boost 100% to 18V at 50% throttle.

thank you for this. behind the side armrest worked a treat!! not too hard to just pop off and still get to the dials too :)
