My laptop is not allowing me to see the video. I have two questions . How much do the braces weigh ? What metal are the braces made from ? aluminum ? Chrome moly ? , or steel ?

They re built in-house from 4130 chrome moly steel and powdercoated silver metal flake.

They are just under 5 lbs.

A great solution as many can attest to - 100s of reviews on AM, Steeda, etc. ... plenty of the forums and in this thread too!

Took mine off my 15 GT and still need to put them on ,my 18 GT. I am so lazy LOL They were great on the 15'.

Honestly, when viewing the area these fit it appears the Ford design team intentionally designed to accommodate a bracing system.

Ive been looking at these and the OEM braces installed on my PP1 Vert. From what I can tell they seem to serve a similar purpose. They appear to use some of the same mounting points. Hopefully someone from Steeda will clarify how alike or not they are.

Great product! I have had mine on along w/ a bunch of other Steeda suspension parts and I take corners w/ confidence...probably too much confidence. Now time to add some power but waiting on some more @Steeda deals.

I have redone the full suspension on my '16 PP GT using only Steeda parts, except for the Ford Performance Shocks and Struts (paired with Steeda's Ultralite Linear Springs), and I am still amazed by the night and day difference that they have made in terms of the overall drivability and performance capabilities of my car. Not sure exactly what part contributes to what specific driving feel/response is being experienced at any given moment, as I had them all installed in one go, but I'm sure that the IRS Subframe Support Braces play a large role in that. I guess my whole point of this post is really just to say thank you for the awesome products that you have made available to us S550 owners. Definitely made a believer out of me and a lifelong customer!

Installed these support braces a couple days ago using the easy to follow written instructions after viewing an installation video on u-tube. The install (driveway on jack stands) was easy and straight forward taking about two hours from start to finish. During post install test drive, the car felt much more planted on hard acceleration and definitely tracked straighter without getting sideways when shifting into second and third. No change to normal ride characteristics (harshness etc.) or change to NVH. Really like the planted feeling of the cars rear end when punching it. Recommend this item to help keep car straight when accelerating hard and banging a gear. No cons.
