I am heading there October 1/2. Pretty excited. I have high expectations after doing a two day school at Ron Fellows in Vegas with Z51 Corvettes! Making a week of it and bringing the family as it’s a bit of a hike from Toronto.

For the two day session, we used both. Different one each day.

I just found out that April 17th is National Mustang Day Birthday of the Mustang on 4/17/1964. I will be at the Ford Performance School that day for my second of on track instruction. I am excited, on the track on Mustang Day.:clap:

how many of you are opting IN for the vehicle damage coverage? $165 per day (for $5k max liability). wondering whether i should do this or not. i imagine very few damage the cars but there's always that chance.
I did.

I did. Can’t see that I would need it but, if I went off-track for some reason And damaged a wheel

Hi VertMustang98 I considered this insurance and ultimately decided against it. I looked at the track and it has large "run off" areas and their is almost nothing you can hit. Also other drivers pointed out that the staff are careful to keep cars a quarter mile apart. You would have to do something dumb to damage their car. PS I am an insurance agent and we have access to track insurance but it as also expensive $180.00 per day.

I haven't decided yet as I was told you could decide up to the day prior to add or remove.

I'm glad you posted this.

I'm viewing it as (safe is better than sorry) but I do think you're correct.

The chances of something happening are slim but having the insurance just gives me Peace of Mind, I'm thinking.

I was told the same but I do believe the cost does go up. I remember signing up it was $150. Now 2 weeks before my class, it's $165. I suspect that when you get there it'll increment up again.
