What tune is this datalog from? Is it PBD's base tune you were logging? If you have the Whipple tune I would put it back in and datalog again with PBD's data config file and see if LTFT starts doing something. STFT's will fluctuate some but that is not normal there. Standard application is that LTFT corrects after PCM sees STFT's stay below or go above 1.0 for a given period of time. If the LTFT's go beyond a given value, CEL codes are generated IIRC.

AFR Lambda is running slightly rich (0.989 = 13.8x) which is why STFT are low to compensate. This would initially indicate that too much fuel is being commanded based on air. That could be either air table related or fuel table related. Verify your MAF is clean and that it is installed in the right direction just as a precautionary. "Working around the problem" is not my idea of good service. So I would be very cautious in accepting that is a quick fix.

Manbearpig I believe is on the right track. Reloading the default Whipple tune (if that is an option) would give you a clear window to the know if this has been created at the tuner's end or if it is an issue within the car.
The SCT tuner, yes I am logging the PBD tune. This was purchased as a tuner kit and has LT with green cats and DW95LB injectors... with a DW400 fuel pump and a fuel pump booster...

New install? If so almost certain its a vacuum leak. The o-ring around the bypass?
Did you give correct injector info?
Fuel pressure?
yes I it is a new install, the oring is in the right place that has been double check... so has injector size and TB gasket too. I can't see how to log fuel pressure with the SCT livelink II . is there an option for that? or do I need to check that with the gage? What pressure should it read?

I had something similar happen to me. Ended up being the bottom side of the air inlet tube had a slight dent in it near the clamp/silicone sleeve, which was letting unmetered air in, throwing my trims off. Took a heat gun to the inlet tube, straightened it out, reflashed the whipple tune, and was good ever since.
Interesting, but my tube looks like it has a clean connection...

His trims are pulling 30%, not adding it.
The lower the trim number indicates fuel is being pulled. This is due to Lambda being rich under closed loop conditions (L 0.98 vice 1.00). Lower STFT indicates fuel reduction. Adding fuel due to a lean condition woudl be a value above 1.00 STFT or LTFT. As you stated it apears that the tune has adaptive learning turned off. The objective is 1.0 or 14.0:1 AFR. The O2 sensors on both banks are seeing Lambda 0.989 which is generating a reduction in fuel to increase Lambda back to 1.0 (14.0:1).

So yes you are correct. His trims are PULLING fuel not adding fuel. I believe that is what I stated. IN closed loop this is due to Lambda 0.98 (14.0AFR x Lambda 0.98 = 13.7AFR AKA rich). Look at the AFR bank 1 and 2, you will see they are running rich hence the drop in STFT bank 1 and 2. However LTFT is not compensating for this.

Well that sucks. Nothing to revert to in effort to prove anything. One last question. PBD sends two tunes initially to load. They tell you which one to load (usually rev1a or something like that). Is that the tune you loaded? If not you may wish to reload the correct tune. I never got out of Rob what the other tune file he sent was for. Just trying to eliminate probable causes.

DUH! I gotcha. My reference to MAF would be incorrect based on AFR. I see what you are saying. Clearly air or fuel tables are incorrect from where I sit. Hopefully he read the OP's options list when they were sent and isn't tuning for a smaller injector possibly? That would cause a rich condition. However that does not explain why LTFT's are not responding over time like they should be.

I was wondering the same thing... they did send two tunes with instructions not to load one of them. I loaded the one he sad to load...

PBD did double check the injector size with me... and I confirmed 95lb.

The sad thing for me is the car drive/runs good... but I know this can lead to issues. I really want to get this right... I really would like to thank everyone how is adding to this thread.

That's good. IMHO getting the LTFT function working again is the first concern. From there you can then see if there are further issues. So press to get that resolved before anything else would be my primary focus. Good luck.

Does anyone know what these wires are for on the back of the blower that are not connected to anything?

Pretty certain they would have been hooked up to IMRC plates that were on the stock intake. The SC intakes do not have them. Tune corrects for that.

use some starting fluid and check for any vaccum leaks. if you don't find anything between the cylinder heads to maf; my guess is they need to get your tuned dialed in..!

So I dropped 150 bucks on a smoke test no leaks ... at 7psi I really wanted to rule this out.
