My Solo Performance exhaust has adjustable tips so even if you totally screw up the pipe fitment, you can adjust the tips to make them look pristine.
I forgot about that brand. I did some research, and DAMN, why isn't Solo the most popular exhaust by far?

They claim to be drone free and backed up by the members here who apparently were beta testers back in the day.

Solo uses a quarter wave resonator which has virtually no effect on flow. The resonators are dead end pipes off the exhaust. The sound waves compress the air in the pipes like a spring and the rebounded sound cancels the drone. They are tuned by slight changes to the length via sliding section. You can find lots of info on the web about people DIYing quarter wave resonators onto big name brand systems to kill the drone. I was aware of the concept, but didn't know of any systems on the market and wasn't up to engineering and fabricating my own.

Here is the sound of their quiet system; you have to jump to around 4 min to hear the sound in the car:

Not about quarter turn resonators but shows the basic principle (turn down the sound so family members in another room don't freak out):

Then the Solo is the perfect choice for blind Mustang drivers.

Anyone that would actually spend 1400-2000 for a axle back needs their head and finances closely examined...

Same could be said about 18-19 GT owners and the ridiculous prices that were paid on their cars versus the 15-17's. My same exact car is still about $8,000 more in the newer trim and I promise you there isn't $8,000 more in performance in it.

The difference between the a10 and the a6 is worth several grand to me. That’s not to mention the increase in power as well.

A GT Premium with 401A, premier trim, nav, and a Shaker is not $35700 like mine was. It's more like $43,000 after the discount. If you strip options, of course you can drop the price.

Back in June there were quite a few 2018’s 7-8k off list. Trading in now for you is called depreciation loss to get the 18 plus bells and whistles. If you bought a corsa to add to your loaded 17 good for you. Lol.

Sorry, I paid $1100 for a quality catback. You don't have to agree with it by simply not buying it. There are a ton of options for these cars thankfully. I picked the one that sounded the best to me and had a full 3" setup from ARH which is great. I guess I'm an idiot too for buying ARH headers and not buying eBay headers that someone ripped off from another major brand?

Even with that discount on the car, that still doesn't bring it under $40,000 with similar options. The 15-17's were a huge dollar to performance ratio when it came to options. That went away when the 2018 showed up.
