Okay so the GT7 is a no go - brake caliper clearance again. Started looking at all brands and came across these - and I actually like them. Also like they fact they are rather light.

They did however mention the GT1 - and I actually like those as well, but of course I'd have to get a custom color to get them in all black. Waiting on a response to let me know the size options I'd have in that wheel.

Konig Oversteer in Black - 19x9.5 40 offset

I've yet to find a picture of a S550 with these, I did find a couple previous generation Mustangs...

Not sure if with your PMs you already contacted CarlosMRRDesignWheels but he's a forum sponsor so he might be able to help you out here.

He and another forum sponsor let me know the GT7's would not work. I like the GT1, but I'd want all black and that's a custom color.

Pretty much decided on the Konig Oversteer 19x9.5 40 offset in black. And turns out they are on nationwide back order.

:headbonk:

I can get them in 19x9.5 with 25 offset - but from what I've been told here, that will poke.

Only other available size is 19x8.5 30 offset - which limits me on tire size and I would end up with a shorter tire than I have now - not the way I want to go.

The GT1's in all black look great, but I don't like them enough to spend almost double what the Konigs cost.

Lovely.

Well dammit....I went back and looked at LMR and the SVE S350 in a 19x10 setup is really growing on me.

Ordered 'em Friday. Those and 275/40/19 BFG G Force Comp 2 A/S go on hopefully next Saturday. Also got the MRR water pump pulley and the PP front and rear swaybars installed today

I have 19x10.5 ET35 wheels that fit square front and back.

Talk to Paul at PKAutoDesigns and buy the wheels from him, he'll give you a good deal.
Wildcatgoal, do the fronts clear the struts without a spacer? Are you on stock suspension or Steeda struts? What size tires and what alignment specs? I am looking at 19x10.5 +40 wheels with 285 35 tires and wondering if they will work at the front with 5mm spacer. Also would like to know if the rears poke at all. Thanks.

Can't go wrong with SVE's. They fit properly, Lightweight, and very reasonable.

what brand of tire?...how do they ride?...lowered?...if so, what brand?
I've had Bridgestone RE760s for the last year and a half on those. I got an exceptionally good deal on them. I'd go with the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 for a fantastic all around summer tire that's inexpensive. They ride well, are quiet and have good dry and wet grip.

My car is lowered 0.7" front, 0.5" rear.

I was looking at the Firestone Firehawk as well. I need a comfortable and a quiet ride. what brand were your lowering springs? You've got a nice even stance.

GT350R front, BMR SP085 handling rears. The latest revision of the SP085 sits a little bit lower, but you could bring it back up to the same height with the Steeda 1/8" rear spring spacers. You have do do better dampers with those springs though. I have the Ford Performance track dampers. It rides significantly firmer but overall well, because it's very controlled.

For you, I'd probably go with the BMR SP763 springs. They're closer to stock rates and will quite sit similar.

Those firehawks didn't look sticky enough.

I gave up on the wheel gap issue and embraced a lighter rotational mass. For $197 a tire the S007a 275/40/18s don't look bad to me and are only 51lbs per corner with my EC7s. You get 9.5 inches of tread on the ground which is good for the streets and probably some casual tracking.

My 20s close the wheel gap down to nothing but they are so heavy I've decided to only run them Nov through March.

I think I'll also pick up a set of Hankook RS4s in 295/40/18 for a total of 11 inches on the ground and in a sticker compound soon but it will come at a cost of 3lbs per wheel. On the streets, the loss of performance from 3lbs per wheel in acceleration and feel probably washes out the gains from increased traction and money spent so the plan is to wear out the S007as on the streets and with some track time first. I don't feel like buying a 4th set of wheels to accommodate a 4th set of tires but if I did I might try some 19x10s.

Believe it or not...i am already having to run a 1 /4 inch spacer on the front to keep even my 275 /40/18s from rubbing at full lock.
