Stock Whipple tune. Ive seen number over 700 but Lund or PBD tune with full exhaust

Thanks 1crazymach! As far as load, I believe that the Mustang dyno is progressive but not sure on max.

Tommy, I'm new to the Mustang world... well new to domestic car world tbh. What are you talking about exactly?

I assume this is with the 3.875 pulley that comes with the kit ?

What are you talking about exactly?[/QUOTE load is a pid that u can datalog,it is calculated from the mass air meter and rpms, basically how much air the engine is consuming to make it simple.Forced induction guys use this as a way to get a [ IDEA] of how much power their car is making but it is not excat.

Seems like the output is about 100 RWPH low for a stage 2.

FWIW, I am getting max load values of 165 - 170.

Did you get logs of the pull ?

On my first pull with the 3.625 pulley /E85 mine made 640????
I don’t have a “functional” boost gauge (Ecoboost) and that dyno always records boost numbers that are higher typically, but I could tell it was not making the expected boost based on the load number on the log .

Turned out the by pass valve was stuck open .
Fixed it and it made up to 829 rwhp on subsequent pulls .
It’s worth checking . I thought it may have been stuck because car had been outside and it was freezing but Whipple said that would be unusual as they did testing in -20 temps to make sure that does not happen .

BTW, what do you do to fix the stuck bypass valve?

He not down 100whp that about right. Winter blend gas and mustang dyno. I think that's a healthy number.

Unfortunately, I have no logs of the run. I got to the shop after it was strapped down, made one run, and left. I don't even know if the traction control was turned off.......

I recently had shoulder surgery and need to get on my ice machine :(

I think the # is correct or at least close to it. I think the advertised ~850 crank # makes me think my 630 wheel is low. I am not a number whore, just want the correct tune. Because of the weather here in IL, I have not even had a chance to make a full throttle hit on the street.

Fortunately, I live in Wellington FL in the winter and recently found our Lethal Performance is a couple miles from my house and Palm Beach Dyno is another stones throw away.

I'd like to hear from Whipple on these #'s on Monday. Kurt @ Komet told me my #'s are spot on. He said that his calculations conclude that a multiplication of 1.18 would net Dynojet. Again, don't really care about a number.... well, not that much ;)

I dont think its low. On a dyno jet you would be around 670 to 680whp. Whipple claimed 755whp. Dont believe the hype. I have this kit and it's great. I also had a stage 2 procharger on my 15. Car made 560whp on dyno jet when procharger claimed 650+whp. Point is dyno is a tool and you can influence the number. If the car runs great that's all that matters.
