How are first impressions? This might be my next non-cosmetic mod. Finally got around to installing the Steeda Extreme G-Trac Brace I bought quite a while ago. The first one I bought would not mount up because one of the front mounting points was off by about 1/8" ... no way I could get the bolt started - I fought it for an hour.
The replacement brace bolted up perfectly. Kind of a PITA to have to try two braces to get one to mount up correctly. My 2015 has the welded nuts in the frame from the factory (later deleted by Ford), so the two front mounting points on the brace need to be dead nuts on or it won't mount up to the welded nuts in the frame.

I took it for a short drive today for the first time after installing the brace and didn't have a chance to push it real hard, so hard to say. I can't see how it would hurt, and I believe the Performance Pack models have some kind of brace in that area, so Ford must think it helps some. How are first impressions? Different locations for the braces, but kinda similar purpose I believe. I've got the PP brace already, but initially planned on adding this at some point too. Looking forward to the future impressions because most people do it in a batch with other suspension mods!I took it for a short drive today for the first time after installing the brace and didn't have a chance to push it real hard, so hard to say.
