Hi folks! Just got my ‘18 Kona Blue non-R on Monday. Love this thing!! I was washing/detailing it today and started noticing nice little design decisions. First thing I noticed where the badges. I always thought the fender and trunk “snake” badges were silver...turned out mine are a nice subtle titanium color. The same goes for my tailpipes (they match).

All the pictures I’ve seen show the tailpipes to be polished silver. Did they change it to a slightly more titanium color or is dependent on what color your car is?

They're all like that. Its not a bright silver. The interior silver pieces are that way also. I like it.

They're all the same, your tail pipes are polished stainless steel; they don't match the badge color.

Get a nano coating on the tail pipes so it's easy to clean when they turn black from inside.

They look good. Are the tips difficult to remove?

No need to coat them. The soot comes off really easily. I use Bar Keeper’s friend as recommended by some here. Others use different polishes.
