The car looks much more aggressive and I love it. You do have to be careful with the front splitter. The ride is actually firmer than frpp ssprings.

Any way u can get a side profile shot of the car. Interested to see the drop with those springs.

Autocrossed the car on Saturday.

I didn't take any pictures or videos at all but I can say that small cars are significantly better for autocross than these things. My fiancee has a Fiesta ST, with a pro in the seat of my car and her car, hers went .6 quicker around a 30-40 second circuit.

It was a blast though, and I think I was the fastest non-pro driver there by a good amount.

I guess I’m old, I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not?

LOL! That's exactly MY reaction to this post, only I was afraid to admit it.

So took Ryu to the track yesterday for the first time, it was a blast and that car held pretty damn well on Willow.

Had a few buddies in the car as well, and they loved the overall way he bashed through the corners.

Got hooked and going back next month again.

Met up with some friends at Cowtown Cars & Coffee. Great mix of exotics and American muscle from both eras. Afterwards, we lined up from a few laps around Texas Motor Speedway. They were having a membership drive for The Speedway Club, so there was no charge and they let us full out with passing allowed. You just had to sign up for their mailing list and sign a mega-waiver. I was a blast. I passed two cars down low on corners and two more up high on the back stretch. The black 350 is me.

It was only 3 laps but it was enough to get the heart rate up and put a grin on the face!

I tried autocross a couple of times... It's such a waste of time here in New England. There are so many cars, and you wait for hours to do a run of 2 minutes.. When you get on, all you see is a sea of cones, and most likely you stuff up first few runs until you learn the track/direction...
I know it's cheaper, but I completely gave up on it. Track days are way better.... you get 2 hours of track time with SCDA, and if you want you get an instructor if you don't you just go alone. No restrictions, and tech is very easy to pass... I love it.,

FINALLY...after many trials and tribulations, the details of which I will not bore you with, I had an opportunity to take her to my home track, High Plains Raceway, for the Porsche Club Rocky Mountain event, and wring her out for the first time. Very hot days, but the car ran superbly. What an absolutely astonishing car to drive! The pull, the grip, the balance! I was chasing down a GT3 and a GT4 Clubsport, though I'm not sure the Clubsport was pushing all that hard. Apologies for the crummy video mount location...
1:59.9 best lap time for the weekend, 1.58 G's.

Finished the front tow hook install. The red pops! The hook is incredibly sturdy. Finishing up my inspections for Road Atlanta this weekend :handsinair:

The most difficult part was reinstalling the bumper cover as I was doing this by myself. 2nd was the holes in the air duct box behind the bumper. I do not own A 90° drill so I did the best I could as it is a tight fit for a standard drill. A drill press for the holes on the al bumper highly recommended to keep alignment throughout. Otherwise pretty straightforward.

@Zitrosounds What did you use for your "Got Voodoo" on the radiator cover? I was going to get a vinyl sticker made for that area, but realized it's too hot...or at least it seems too hot.
