Well, don't know what to think now. Checked COTUS again, and car now shows Awaiting shipment, with a blank EDD. The other Bullitt that appeared to be shipped along with mine also shows the same thing. So was it actually shipped on June 30th EDD 08/04, or "just kidding".

Is it possible it was shipped and COTUS is just a bit screwed right now....

I'll probably check with my dealer next week and see what info they have.

Probably should just stop checking COTUS.

COTUS got rid of my EDD this morning too. COTUS is often not accurate. For example, the Bullitt Lebanon Ford got in yesterday was still showing “awaiting shipment” even though it was just delivered to the dealership. So really, I’d say it’s anybody’s guess. COTUS is accurate for some but don’t be surprised if your car is in fact on the way and randomly shows up at your dealer at some point without warning.

Yes, I think that is pretty cool feature, looking forward to seeing it work. My '06 Jetta with the DSG tranny does rev matching in manual mode and it's a pretty cool feature.

Check with ford performance chat. They are usually better.

So just a bit annoyed. I decided to check my dealers website to see what their inventory was like and I see several 2019's on the page. The site shows their VIN's, so I looked them up and they were built after my car, but yet somehow made it to the dealer and mine hasn't left the lot. Also the Ford employee pricing is far better than the deal I got, so they better adjust mine.

I feel your pain on the shipping. Same story here. Dealer's first Bullitt that was nearly 100 after mine showed up yesterday and my car still hasn't shipped. Trying to get an early car seems to be complete luck of the draw.

But if the car was built b4 their other inventory why would the dealer not have the car scheduled to be on the truck with the others.

Some get held for extra inspections or need slight changes. I agree though, the lack of order and randomness about what gets shipped and what doesn't can be frustrating. Car #1 should be the first delivered, instead it was car #184 :lol::shrug:

I haven't seen anything that would indicate the dealer has any say in the shipping. This may be where a better priority code might make a difference, or (while it sucks from our perspective) Ford might have decided that having a car on the showroom floor might be a better sales generator than delivering a customer car

I thought a lot of it had to do with stock orders being filled before retail orders and also dealer allocation issues. My 2019 was produced and released awaiting shipment last week. And now I find out my EDD has been pushed back 2 weeks.

Don't feel too bad, Matt. Bullitt #001 is still waiting for a ride to Sioux Falls, SD (I'd laugh my ass off if I found out that they're waiting for my car to be finished on Monday, to fill the rail car bound for St. Paul, where both get trans-loaded to trucks).
