I think Ford Performance is a better source for updates than COTUS. They use the Ford Vehicle Visability access portal which provides more detail.
link? I didn't see it.

That seems correct, as I "chatted" with them today, eventually about my car. Unlike COTUS, which shows mine as an est. DD of 8/13, they have a window from 8/7 though 8/13 (currently "in production").
Actually, I tried to get some info out of them as to the availability of the GT/CS grille as a FoMoCo parts counter item (I don't like the 3-section GT grille) and my dealer's parts manager can't pull up MY19 parts yet. Turns out that Ford Perf. knew less than we did.

I think that may be a hit and miss too.

I contacted them on Wednesday (Chat) and was told "06/21 In Production"

COTUS has been showing "Awaiting Shipment" since 06/22.

So in this case COTUS seems more current.

I usually call and the lady I speak with always qualifies her answer by saying “as of yesterday” so it appears their info may be a day behind. However she is very good at drilling down and getting more detail than COTUS provides. Where as COTUS just says “in production”, she can see where in production it is. The steps are; sent to plant - body shop - trim line - produced. So a little more detail than just “in production” as COTUS says.

Just stopped by my dealership and saw the velocity blue and compared it to the lightning blue. Not much difference.

Yeah, I saw it too and got to take the color sample outside to compare it to a lightning blue Shelby. It’s definately lighter and brighter especially in the sun leaning a little towards grabber blue. I like the color but not sure if it isn’t too much in your face kind of color for this old man’s Mustang.

So I stuck with the magnetic color I originally ordered. I hope when I see velocity on an actual car I don’t end up regretting my decision. If they were offering the new Shelby performance blue on the regular Mustang, I would have gone with that.

Sure. I am blaming him that I can't send my brother a comparison photo. Guess thats an excuse to go back to the dealership.

Any 2019 deliveries yet?
I havent heard of any yet. Mine is one of the first produced and my EDD is 7/21. Whats strange is that Ford has had a $1000 cash incentive on the 2019 Mustang out for a few weeks now that expires on 7/9, yet 2019's won't even be delivered by then. However, my salesman tells me that after 7/9 that will either stay in place or get better based on his experience. We will see.

My EDD is 7/6 and I have a Private Cash offer that expires on 7/9 so I'm hoping I get my car in time so I don't lose out on $750.
