Here’s a video of my second time at the track. Did much better than the first time but I had better tires and fuel. I know I have a lot to learn so rip the bandaid with your questions, suggestions, opinions, comments or whatever. Want to learn and improve :D

2017 GT Base Auto, Lund e85 Tune, PMAS CAI, GT 350 Mani, LT headers, corsa catback, steeda lockout bushings, eibach sportlines, PP struts, 18x10 AMR wheels on 305/40/18 Nitto NT555r rears and 20” wheels and tires on the front. I think DA was about 1500.

Not bad at all,if u put a convertor in that thing it will bring them 60ft times down alot.Probably put u at mid 11's.Think u can still get a little better 60 as it is.If your spinning at all on the launch or 1to2 shift drop your tire pressure a little more.

Thanks! I am spinning a little for sure. Tire pressure was around 20 for the 1st run and 18 for the rest. The first run was going to be a good one until the car boged on the shift because of advanced traction :(

I’ve thought about the converter but that’s out of my range for now. Definitely on the list.

For these runs I launched in between 1500-2k rpm

Well u might want to drop your tire pressure a little more and make sure advance trac control is off not just regular trac control. Also with the stock convertor i would not stall it up much at all if any,imo dont help much on a stock stall.

It was just on for the first one. Completely off for the rest and I will definitely work on tire presssure next time. I keep reading around here that some had better results with not stalling so I’ll try that too. Thanks!

What did you stall it up to for the launch? Also, have you tried the difference between D and S in drag mode?

Stalled between 1500-2k rpm. All was done in S, 2 runs auto and 2 runs paddle shifting. I just read about trying it out in D, next time.

I would say don't do another mod until a converter, but without a better track tire setup it will be useless. I just went from 12.50's to 11.90's with just converter. But have 17" drag radials.
