I’m with you guys I LOVE the car. It handles and rides fantastic. I can’t even put into words how much better the car feels compared to my 15. My only grip is the tires. OMG the rocks!! The car is going to be destroyed before I get my new tires next week. I installed the splash guards from CJPP and they have helped a lot but damn. SC2 tires with these offsets is brutal.

Without it, is there some risk of the clutch pedal moving enough to, say, trip the car off cruise control? I can see where that might bother a few people.

Serious question.

I don't know about that, but like Walt mentioned, without the spring it will always put some pressure on the slave cylinder which could make it wear out sooner. If it starts leaking air, clutch operation will deteriorate and the slave cylinder will have to be replaced.

You think like me, Mine was tinted from dealer, I put on the Steeda light weight jacking rails, had them for a while but finally got around to putting them on (longest part of install is scraping off the excessive adhesive under the body where they go). You'll catch a good amount with a catch can, I would highly recommend it. Weathertechs were actually first mod I did, had them two days after getting my car. I thought I'd stop there, but then I went on to put the RTR side and rear splitters on, they match the front splitter so well, I've added side scoops, roush heat extractors, roush rear valance parts, 12 inch RF Punch, black emblems on sides (still need to do the grill and rear ones, can't access the front pony like the previous year without taking off bumper, no opening under latch). Probably leaving a few other mods off, guess i need to update my mod list and signature one day.
did you post pictures with the splitters on? i must have missed it. i want to do the same thing to tie the front splitter in.

May just be marketing hype, but according to Steeda, removal of the spring may lead to slave cylinder seal damage over time. https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-mustang-clutch-spring-assist-35-lb-in-15-16-all-555-7022.html

Infidex, did you get just the spring ($20), or the spring and perch kit ($85)?
I got the whole assembly. The design is a bit different on the perch so thought I would just trust steeda changed it for a reason. it was about 85 bucks.

You're lowering it more? Post up some more pics when you get it done.

Been driving 6 years and 60,000+ miles with no assist spring, CC works as intended.

Anyone have any info on the PP2 alignment specs? I haven't had a chance to go through the owner's manual yet.
