Anyone have any experience with SVE R350 wheels for their R? I'm thinking about using these on the street and reserving the CF wheels for track use only. They are super cheap and pretty light. It's been my experience that with performance wheels you get what you pay for, but these might be ideal for street use only, provided there are no caliper clearance or other issues. Please weigh in and thanks!

So, my first two thoughts/concerns to help are 1) the sizes are wrong, which would make me question the offset; depending on how picky you are about the looks of the fitment. It would drive me bonkers. 2) Woah...that’s cheap.

I actually had a set of these on my GT350 for a bit, only reason I took them off is because I've got an opportunity of picking up one of the first sets of a wheel that's about to be released soon. So somebody made me a great local offer and I passed them along to another owner.

In my opinion these would be a great option for a street wheel on an R, I ran the stock 295/35 & 305/35 Pilot Super Sports on them and they looked just fine. The sizing is a it "skinnier" compared to stock but the offsets are definitely optimized for GT350 & R. Caliper clearance is also something that's very pleasing with these wheels, the clearance was even better than my stock GT350 wheels. The quality of these wheels are as good as the rest of the companies that use the "flow forming" aka "rotary forged" manufacturing process. For the price, you definitely won't be disappointed. And Late Model Restoration's customer service has always been top notch so even if there is an issue they will get you squared away quick.

Here's a few pictures.....(including my car in LMR's 2018 calendar )

What are you replacing them with, might I ask?
Going to go back with a set in R specs and sizes, this will be my 3rd set of aftermarket wheels in a little over a year (my wife may kill me ). Project 6GR's new 10 spoke wheel is what I'm going with now. Wanted something a little different this time.

Man, I just can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something “off” with that wheel. Scratching my head.

I'm OK with it...The roads in Denver coupled with the amount of thievery going on here makes me OK with "a little off." Maybe a front spacer you think?

Funny you say spacer, I honestly thought it needed a small spacer (maybe 5mm, if that) to be the perfect fit for myself.

Also, the difference between the 30 and 35 series tires makes the wheel appear slightly different (maybe smaller) as well.

Ya know, I thought of that, but I’ve seen plenty of 6GR (and now the Vibe version) with the stock non-R size tires and took that into consideration and that ain’t it. Oh well...no biggie. Car still looks great though. Saw the P51’s. Nice.

Something else I noticed is that the 6GR wheels have slightly thinner spokes than these do and of course are a lot more concave.

Minus the sizes, these are actually a more accurate R replica wheel.
