2 audable shut down sounds on my 2018 gtpp1

Hi, brothers and sisters, when I shut my car down, within a few minutes, I hear like 2 clicking sounds , any clues on what that is. I have a loaded 18 PP1 car,safe and smart,enhanced security,auto,active exhaust, all the bells and whistles, thanks for your help-Tonyd1, never owned a s550 car before now.:ford::ford::ford:

The enhanced security package adds a steering wheel lock and console lock that engages a minute or so after you turn the car off. It will make an audible sound when they lock.

I had been wondering the same thing, thanks for asking and the answers! Though curious which console is locking? Is it the arm rest or glove box?

Also regarding sounds, after the car shuts off after a normal drive I hear a fan kick on in the engine bay and the front grill I can feel the draft sucking up outside air. I had a Volvo previously that used to do that to prevent condensation on the A/C, but not sure what the car is doing.

I have a 2018 GT with PP1, A10, almost fully loaded.

you may also have a plasticy sound which (certainly on the UK versions) we get after about a minute of ignition off which shuts the air vents too happens on all modern cars not just the stangs

AHHHHH I wish I had that! My arm rest doesnt lock and my glove box takes a key. I wish they both would auto lock when the car does. Wish my f-150 did that as well.
