BFE to me is about 4-5 cars out past where current cars are parked. Enough to make it look like I might have been parked there during a busy time, but people have since left. Yeah, parking in the back of an empty lot is too much. Other nice cars park near me with the same idea.

Exactly. I also read somewhere that cars parked near the entrance tend to be stolen/broken into/vandalized less because there are more witnesses around and you are more likely to be on the store's surveillance system.
